What SCS did with this truck is breathtaking ... I can't stop playing and taking pictures of the 49x! :D :D

On the fifth wheel it is very complex because it depends on the load you are carrying and the chassis that you are using, 8x6 most of the time it is better to be aligned with the middle axis (considering the 3 axles of the rear), in 8x4 configuration the fifth wheel is in the right place and does not need to be changed. The hoses / cables must be very close to the first axis of the rear and not close to the cab, this SCS must fix in both chassis (8x6 and 8x4).

well, they still can move the 5th wheel, 305mm to be exact, this is the distance i moved it so it is still within the sliding 5th wheel spec for my 6x4 SBA

also, did some of you guys took a closer look at the 5th wheel of the 49X in general :D

The Freightliner Cascadia has grease stains on its fifth wheel. The Western Star 49X has rub marks on its fifth wheel from the trailer pivoting on it. They're both also branded Jost fifth wheels. Other than that, I didn't notice anything special about them.

so the Cascadia also has a Jost 5th wheel, i only noticed it on the 49X that it had it, though it was a mistake because it is normally called Just and not Jost

The Mack Anthem also has a Jost fifth wheel. By the looks of the grease stains on it, it uses the same model as the Freightliner Cascadia.

I guess you can get third party ones in real life, but WS doesn't offer them on non-logger bumpers.
What I say is mostly accurate.

Going on work trips to bring you guys new trucks, trailers... and maybe more?

Don't check out my Steam Workshop mods because they are not updated anymore:
