The Western Star 5700XE looks really cool! I am just learning your forum, but I already like it a lot. Nice to know I'm Lily.

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
I'm thinking that maybe the new truck is going to be something like 47X, and have the same differences and similarities to 49X that the 4700 has to the 4900. And if that's the case, I think it would be unlikely to see it added to ATS.
Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
4700 is kinda newer than 4900 and 4800. If something will change it's probably 4800.

I still hope we will get the 5700XE in the near future. Or at least, it's replacement.
BUT, maybe we get a surprise from SCS on the new X model. We don't know how WS/DTNA feedback was on the release of the 49X, but if it was good, I bet they can and want tp do more stuff with SCS. The key here is the manpower to handle all.

Hi guys, I tried to search for it online but can't find any info, does the WS 49X have the option to install the exhaust stack behind the cab? like the cascadia?

No. 49X exhaust options include bottom, standard, and plain stacks (dual). In game may use Truck Browser to see options.

Yes, I know about the in-game options, I'm asking about IRL options?

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
With the arrival of the Freightliner Cascadia and International LT after the launch and update of the Western Star 49x, I have noticed that these trucks appear with two variants in truck traffic and the 49x with only one variant. I think it would be a good idea to include the 72 "cab variant in traffic in an upcoming update, don't you think?
Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
And in 49X case, the variable of chassis too (SBA and SFA) we just have the SFA daycab... Would be good SFA sleeper, SBA sleeper...
