Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
Well as the last brand to make an appearance on this forum I thought I’d start. Being European I don’t know much of American trucks but from the lineup of WS trucks I really like and hope for the 5700XE. I’m sure they’re people on here who know more than I though
On September 30, 2020, SCS released the Western Star 49X!

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
I think the 5700XE is a good contender to be the first Western Star truck because it is its flagship truck. But I also get a bit confused with the choice of the International Lonestar instead of the International LT. So I gamble a 50/50 chance of being the 5700XE or 4900 being the first WS in ATS.

Actually the 4900 is the flagship truck as it has been in production for 25 to 30 years.

I didn't know that. I thought it was the 5700 because it is more aerodynamic.Larry71490 wrote: ↑15 Apr 2020 15:16 Actually the 4900 is the flagship truck as it has been in production for 25 to 30 years.

Aerodynamics have nothing to do with being the flagship model. Believe it goes by sales and production history.

Thanks
I like the 4700. Is it a daycab workhorse only?
Never mind. Checked their website

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
Hey, stop making truck brand threads! I don't read them so fast!
Jokes aside, I think that Western Star can already be worked on as the Oscar's trip to the DTNA was described as very successful. But it definitely will be the last of 7 brands to make it into ATS, and I hope for 4900 to be chosen. 5700XE just looks too Transformer-ish.
