Okay. There are 7 cabins. How many chassis? There are 36 or more than 36

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
Since the trucks can be special ordered by the customer to suit their specific needs, there are hundreds if not thousands of possible chassis configurations for this truck. They come in varying lengths, axle counts, axle spacings, tractor, straight truck/rigid, etc.

Wouldn't it be nice if day cabin sleepers and other cabins came?
So why is the next western star 49 x 3 cables? I wish 5 cabins were added and 8X2 8X8 Chassis?

What do you mean by day cab sleepers? Day cabs and sleeper cabs are two different things.
I agree that it would have been nice if SCS included four or five cabin options on the 49X. They included the 72 inch midroof sleeper on the Cascadia, so I wonder why they didn't add it on the 49X.

It's physically impossible for 4x6, 4x8, and 6x8 to exist. When vehicles are refereed to in the AxB format, A is the total number of wheels the vehicles has, and B is the number of wheels powered by the engine. You can't have more powered wheels than the total number of wheels.

What a Nonsense. Do you actually think that WS would say we can only give you 3 cabs, you can't do more than that?xXCARL1992Xx wrote: ↑25 Apr 2021 20:38 if SCS didnt include the other cabs it means they dont have them negotiated into the license, stop asking, they wont bring them if they dont want them
More cabs requires more working, more working requires more resources. SCS would use their resources for other vehicles that are missing. You know... at least 5-10 trucks are waiting on the queue for release. Otherwise more detailed version would work for WS's favour. They could make better advertisement of their truck. With ATS release their truck got way more attention then they think. Even the people who are not working on this business aware 49X released.
Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
I guess that’s exactly what Carl meant. SCS would have agreed to do three cabin variants, they cannot work on 49X for a long time as other trucks are also in the queue.
Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
Mannn a lot of activity in here for Sunday that I missed somehow. I read 3 pages of post that if I would have made them, I'd surely get a warning for them and probably banned again. Funny how some comments stay posted and not cleaned up. For Western Star, I think SCS is off to the next in line. The 49x is the most complete truck we have. It has two axle configurations and no other truck has that. I'd rather see SCS focus go to the 5700 or the 4900.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
Read again what I wrote, i never said WS only gave 3 Cab options, SCS didnt ask for the others and therefore didn't negotiate them into the contract
