I'd rather talk 5700 as well. I'm kind of just really over the 49X.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

If anything on truck updates, I would love to see the Ultraloft/blackout options for the 579 and A-pillar deflectors/fully digital dashboard for the Cascadia.

Also on a totally random thought, what if we get a spiritual successor for the 5700XE in real life, something like 57X or so?

I'd rather see the VNL first instead of the 5700XE... But there is the fact that @flight50 mentioned, which is that before WS decided to give us the 49X, SCS was already working on other WS model... So it may be closer to the release than you guys think.

Since the appearance of prefabs will no longer occur to hint the next truck... We are completely in the dark until SCS decides to tease something. Because the next truck for ATS could be literally anything (It could be from any of the brands we have, any model available from that brand)... Sure, there are better odds of a certain model coming first than others but we'll never know for sure. Just like what happened with WS... We all thought we would get the 5700 last year but SCS surprised us with the 49X.

^Well there was talks about the 5700 as we know it discontinuing. Really the only change is using the Cascadia cab and sleeper to get rid of the specific more costly cab of the 5700. Even though I like it because its different, Daimler is trying to save cost and go with driver comfort at the same time. There have been a few mock ups and the truck looks pretty good with the Cascadia parts imho. Just don't change that from end of the 5700. That completely wipes out the look and desire to have the 5700. The Cascadia puts me over but its really the 5700 I want. I just never thought it had a chance in ATS so I settle for the Cascadia. I love the look of the Cascadia but the 5700 just says Lincoln....luxury to me. But in real life, seems like most say that the Cascadia is more comfortable. Well in ATS, its about the looks and I'm rolling with the 5700 if we get it. Its still not the classic that I love. There is a sloped hood to the 5700 and I hate not seeing my hood when driving. Main reason I still prefer my W900.

I'm ready to see the forum break again for the next ATS truck. I think the 5700 a truck that can do it. I think the new VNL, new 579, new T680, 122SD and the W990 could all also break the forum too. I sure hope at least 2 of these can come off this list within the next 12-13 months. If one is close for this year, that gives them a good stretch of time for more. We could easily get 2-3 from now til next Summer though.

And this is the really cool part. What ever it is, will be almost......almost be out the blue. Element of surprise. We could actually still get hints in the game files with a patch update. All dealerships might be in but in order to prepare for a truck, iirc, the truck folder still has to be in place. That is the only clue we have if a teaser doesn't come first.

^I wouldn't call it a discontinuation of the 5700xe rather a facelift/redesign
Take it with a grain of salt nothing is 100% sure

If SCS keeps the same time stamps as last year, we might be seeing something for ATS in this or the next month. The Anthem released back in April 2020, so... Like i said, SCS could show up with a teaser any day now.

^ I agree. Goodyear becoming a one-day thing was unexpected and I believe that it mostly hints that SCS is freeing up time for something else, something big. Can be for 1.41 or even a new truck for either game. Both games have strong candidates this time :P

SCS was working on old Cascadia as well but... I'm too pessimistic maybe but I lost my hope to get my favourite truck in all times as it is which is 5700XE
