Someone in a truck group I'm in on Facebook has spotted a 49X SBA sleeper hauling 2 4700s piggyback. Can't wait to see more arriving at dealers

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
When the sleeper cabs get added to the Western Star 49X, I hope there is also the option where one can have the 10 auxiliary gauges in place of the navigation system. This would be so cool to have! If that happens, it would bump the Kenworth W900 down to second place in terms of the truck with the most gauges in ATS. I love real gauges, so driving a truck with lots of gauges really appeals to me.

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
I imagine that the 49X will likely get the same set of sleepers as the Cascadia did. It would be nice if they also include the setback axle version in order to maximize maneuverability, especially with a sleeper, but I am not counting on that.

This dash in the WS looks nice with the gauges and it fits pretty well, btw maybe also we could get the lounge sleeper, I was kinda sad that the cascadia didn't get it either but still the cascadia is a really good truck.
Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
Are those gauges came as the 10 or can you customise it? I mean If I want to buy my truck with 6 gauges instead of 10 is it possible for WS? If that is possible I would like to have gauges like that. It is possible for KW.
If that is possible it could be implemented like adding stickers on your fridge in cabin accessories dlc

It can't be implemented this way, unless you want non-functional gauges.
If gauges are meant to be functional they require an animation model which to my knowledge cannot be added to a single gauge (accessory).

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
I don't want to talk down your idea, but as long as NONE of them will give abnormal readings (indicating a failure/problem), it would hardly matter if they were static or simply on/off related to engine running... still, I am strongly for MOAR OPTIONS on the trucks, be it chosable single/dual driver layouts, GPS/Intrument clusters, auxiliary lights/horns/whatever...
Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
Oh, sad
I wish it can be dynamic and additional just like compass or GPS.
