To be honest,i judge an update by what i like and i don't like from the update. Not by the number of content.

Re: ATS 1.39 Speculation Thread
We are getting closer to know what 1.39 will have officially as we have been predicting what is coming and now with the next western star coming scs say it will be very shortly after and there are 14-15 days left until it's revealed to us
Take it with a grain of salt nothing is 100% sure

Re: ATS 1.39 Speculation Thread
The arrival of the SCS virtual of it would take a while, I expect 1.39 as early as mid November or as late as Late December. We might get the open beta during the middle of October or maybe by the end but this is what I expect, also because an year ago we were promised a new truck for 2020 Christmas and a New truck would come as a dedicated part of an update, I don't expect 2 versions within 2 months so we would likely see 1.39 near the very end of the year.

The Western Star,or any truck for that matter...can be released with an update subversion. If SCS said that the Western Star will be released shortly after the real truck release...they know more than us.
To be honest,i don't think shortly means 2-3 months.

Re: ATS 1.39 Speculation Thread
Your post makes me scratch my head a little. This thread is ATS so I will keep it ATS related. But if Colorado is to try making it for 2020, Nov would be the latest 1.39 can go live to bring in Colorado. We'd need ob a month before the public release of 1.39. The typical ob last 3-5 weeks but can go longer. 1.37 was a very odd one but its is not typical either. SCS always spaces out map dlcs a month apart for both games. That means that 1.39 ob has to come for late Sept or mid Oct in order for 1.39 to go public by Nov and bring Colorado by 2nd-3rd week of Nov at the latest.RoxyQuarry wrote: ↑14 Sep 2020 15:13 The arrival of the SCS virtual of it would take a while, I expect 1.39 as early as mid November or as late as Late December. Second, we were never promised a truck for 2020 Christmas. Where you get that from? SCS has never promised anything a year in advanced.....never. Can you reveal your source for this? Even early last year Pavel said he hoped both games get 2 trucks each. ATS only got one but notice the word hoped. Hope and promise are not interchangeable words.
Last note. 1.39 as a significant update to bring maps would never be very end of year. The latest an update can go live is the second week of Dec. We always get the Xmas event then. Not to mention SCS goes on holiday break the week before Xmas and don't return til like the second week of January. There isn't really anyone to manage issues on big updates while they are on holidays so they won't release huge updates. Patch updates are a different story. Someone can handle that.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

I agree, and I believe open beta will come before Sep 29
There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

Re: ATS 1.39 Speculation Thread
Think there will be one more OB for the year, but Colorado is more what scs says about at this point. If 1.39 comes with visual goodies and new trailer along with fixes to the map all be fine with it. I think 1.39 will be smaller update unless scs surprises us.
Re: ATS 1.39 Speculation Thread
What pattern? SCS has rebuilt Tonopah and Las Vegas out of player demand, sure, but they've also done partial rebuilds for less discussed cities like Yuma, Klamath Falls, and Redding. I could easily see a relatively minor city like Primm, Winnemucca, Barstow, Bakersfield, or Elko being the next target for a variety of reasons.
