Might not be a bug. It's probably the miles you accumulated driving Quick Jobs, when you first began your career/profile. 12k sounds about right before you can afford your first truck. Unless you take out a bank loan. I racked up about 7k miles before I could afford my first truck, but I bought the cheapest one I could get asap.

Also, if you stop driving now, I can probably catch up to you by December 2022, if I maintain my 100k miles every 2 month pace

Unfortunately I don't think so. It has a difference between the odometer and the mileage in the "Truck Manager". About your mileage, stay strong. Don't be discouraged ... lol

But while, we're on the subject, cross another one off the list. 5th truck over 100k as I finally got the Lonestar over the finish line. A little faster than 2 months that time, so watch out Andre, my pace has quickened.

4 of them on the current profile.

Then my other profile. No AI miles, I don't hire AI drivers.

Up next is the 389. Gotta find out why @Andre Santos likes this truck so much haha.

Reminds me of the model I built as a kid.

Ok yeah, I see what you're saying now. Had to check all my trucks after you mentioned it, and mine are all off one way or another.

Code: Select all

           Manager - Odometer difference
W900 100,402 - 100,498 -98
Volvo 100,202 - 100,144 +58
Pete 100,150 - 100,191 -41
Lonestar 100,203 - 100,160 +43
K100 (mod) 171,881 - 172,750 -896
The only modded truck I'm using seems to be worse. Your Pete is a mod isn't it? My K100 would be off by about 8000 miles if I ever got up into your range with it.

No. My truck is an edited 389 SCS ... I once had a bug with chrome and had to go back to an automatic save .. I think it was this time that my mileage bugged. But I don't really care about that either. It is little if you count the total mileage. About my passion for my 389, I believe that when you find the right truck you will understand me...

^^^ you are right about that. I used to switch trucks constantly and use lots of mod trucks only to get frustrated and sell them. Then I realized how enjoyable and smooth running scs trucks are and have been stuck on the W900 for almost a year. I also love the 389 and drive it a good bit but the W900 is the one I fell in love with. Closing in on 100k miles. Wish I had more time to rack up miles..

Andre Santos wrote: 14 Mar 2021 11:37 Nice guys. I try to see myself as an independent truck driver ... So I try to spend more time with the same truck. And I also can't play with another truck. I like my 389 so much that I have him adapted on ETS2 too.
That's awesome. That is why I like my W900 so much. I'd rather rack up miles on it more than any other truck. However, I run multiple profiles now and I have a few other trucks now. Updates depends on what profile I am on. I try to keep my main profile as clean as possible from mods that break frequently. That is when I rack up my W900 miles the most. But I'd never catch your miles/km's, lol. That's some serious dedicated driving. Do you use map mods? I'd be burned out with that many miles driving in the SCS provided maps. In another 5 years or so, there will be a ton more space to drive in ATS though. It will be even harder for me to not drive more at that point.

@cwat89 Certainly. Although a little out of date I still like them both very much.

@flight50 I've run with map mods on ATS, but since February 2019, I think, I only do WoT loads. So, I play only on the original map.

Man that's a lot of driving. A dedicated driver. I love ATS but I don't get to drive much. I spend more time on here than I do driving. I can't wait to see a much larger map. I'm sure you'll love having more states to drive too. It'll be cool to see how many miles you can rack up on your truck.
