@pigbrother lol just a little bit
Re: Mileage bragging Thread
Well that's a bad spot for it lol. Speaking of digital display, I can cycle through them with the "i" key, and some of the screens appear to have multiple screens of info, but I have no idea how to get to them. The one I'm specifically trying to find is a digital readout of how many gallons of fuel I have left in the tank. Or does the Cascadia not have that? All the other trucks do.supersobes wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021 03:54Nice! Enjoy the Cascadia! It's currently my favourite truck in ATS! Yours is definitely looking good!
The Cascadia has a dash compass too, but it's only on the first info screen where it shows the fuel economy. Once you change it to the digital speedometer like you have it, the compass goes away.
Like here, I'm on the home tab and there are dashed lines on the side indicating different pages of info, but I can never get to that 3rd dash on the home tab. It goes to the 2nd dash when you press "i", but then jumps to the next tab, which is the digital speedometer, which has 2 dashes of info itself, but you can't get to the 2nd dash as it jumps to the 3rd tab (gauges), which has 5 dashes, but you can only view dash 1 and 3, before it jumps to dash 3 on the engine tab lol. Long story short, none of these tabs or dashes have a digital readout of fuel remaining. I mean thank goodness there's one for "soot level" (sarcasm). Yeah, I don't care about soot level, but fuel level would certainly be useful haha. The little needle in the corner isn't accurate enough for my taste.

The Cascadia does not have a digital fuel gauge in real-life, so it wasn't added to the game.
As for the dashes for screens that you can't get to, not all of the screens were included in the game. For example, the third dash on the home screen is for keeping track of multiple trips. Since the game only supports one trip odometer, that screen wasn't included.
Here is a good video from Freightliner that shows all the details of the instrument panel, including the things that weren't included in the game.
