Wyoming Discussion Thread
Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Nice finds everyone. Really wasn't expecting a blog today!! We're at 13 total and still no achievements added, but the blogs seem to be coming fast now, for sure!
Here's a compilation of the photos and locations as usual, with of course big credit going to @ThatWeirdTrucker, @flight50, @Shiva, and @Skoot!
Pic 1: is the I-25 overpass of exit 189 for Events Dr in Casper, here.
Pic 2: is the overpass at exit 20 along I-90 in northern Sheridan, here. We got a shot of this overpass back in the Dec 9th blog.
Pic 3: is either along the WB 1-90 lanes at the I-90/I-25 interchange north of Buffalo, here, or alone the SB lanes of I-25 at the I-25/US 26 interchange north of Cheyenne, here.
Pic 4: is the High Plains Rd overpass at exit 4 along I-25 south of Cheyenne, here.
Pic 5: is where US 26 passes over I-25 in eastern Casper, here. the interesting street layout of the area can be seen from above.
Pic 6: is the overpass for I-25 over Wyoming Blvd at exit 185 in east Casper, here.
Pic 7: is the intersection of US 287 and WYO 28 south of Lander, here-ish. Unfortunately there is no street view for that very small section of road.
Pic 8: is approaching exit 323 along I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie, here.
Pic 9: is exit 316 for Grand Ave and US-30 along I-80 in eastern Laramie, here. (SCS must've really loved mapping with street view in those weather conditions hahahaha)
Pic 10: is SB US 191 where it meets with US 89 in Hoback Junction, south of Jackson, here.
Pic 11: is alone Events Dr approaching exit 189 of I-25 in Caper, here.
Pic 12: is the DDI for College Dr at exit 7 of I-25 in south Cheyenne, here.
Pic 13: is on NB I-25 passing through Douglas, approaching exit 140 for WYO 59, here.
Pic 14: is likely WB I-80 north of Laramie, here. (very nice find Flight)
Pic 15: is the intersection of US 26, US 20/26 BYP, and WYO 257 in Casper, here.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
So no signs of Cody yet …
Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
I think picture 3 comes from the intersection of I-25 and US26. There is Dwyer Junction Rest area next to interchange.
Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
@Johny1987 Oh maybe!! I haven't even considered that!
Picture 3.
I-25 and US 26 at Dwyer Junction.
I-90 and I-25 in Buffalo.
Here's also the Picture from the June 2nd blog that we determined to be the I-25/I-90 interchange for more comparison. The real images seem to be fairly indistinguishable from eachother, but the rockiness around the bridges in the background lead me to believe it might be interchange at Dwyer Junction instead! That would help connect us up to Torrington as well.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
@Bedavd Hmmm. You know what. I think the June 2nd is definitely Buffalo but today's could actually be Dwyer Junction. I sure hope today's is Dwyer. That does indeed get us to Torrington. Why is June 2nd Buffalo? The retaining walls on June 2nd are in squares...just like in real life. But in today's, no squares and it looks like straight panels. Go to street view closer to each retaining wall under the bridges. So today could indeed be Dwyer. Good job @Johny1987.
Today's blog matches up better with the overhead sign on the far left and then the criss cross road. Also check out all the light post. SCS matched that. The lowest level on today's blog also seems to be a bit deeper than the Buffalo underpass. The Buffalo location also has some several little panel walls coming from that underpass. There is no room for that at Dwyer as the slope is steeper. Not to mention the location of the far right light pole. Dwyer has it in the rear of the bridge...Buffalo has it in the front of the bridge where those little panel walls are.

Yeahhhh, that's a little depressing. The best thing that could actually happen is...Cody gets its own blog like Cheyenne. That would explain it. Perhaps Cody could be one of the very last cities to complete. I'll keep my fingers crossed for that one. Missing Cody is just as bad as missing Yellowstone. Cody is just too big to miss it imho. Without confirmation of either of those 2, there is an ugly gap between Jackson and Sheridan if things stay the way they are. That would be equal to missing all of Southern Utah.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
It looks like we won't get Cody and Yellowstone, which is absolutely disappointing. Before the release of Idaho I predicted its map based on all the info from the blogs and game files (original post) and was almost 100% correct. I won't be surprised if the map of Wyoming from .dds file is what we end up with.
Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
First one of those is verrry interesting.
Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
I wonder about 120 and 387.
Well, 387 has fuel station for 59.
120, it could be this 1 one https://www.google.com/maps/@43.6462421 ... 312!8i6656 .
If there be no Cody. 120 is Legal truck route.
