Wyoming Discussion Thread
Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Those signs are the ones you see while driving and not the UI ones right?
If so, they could show a road which sign is marked but not necessarily drivable. Would be interesting to see if the UI signs got updated too as those would indicate the drivable roads.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
no, it should not be. if they are doing map in that way, they can start Montana from Great Falls.ads678 wrote: ↑24 Jun 2021 20:28 It looks like we won't get Cody and Yellowstone, which is absolutely disappointing. Before the release of Idaho I predicted its map based on all the info from the blogs and game files and was almost 100% correct. I won't be surprised if the map of Wyoming from .dds file is what we end up with.

1. Glacier National Park
2. Yellowstone
3. Cody
If you look to the topography, missing places are the places which will feel us elevation changing.
btw, does not anybody live in this area? There must be at least a walmart somewhere in this area. So, trucks can enter. Do these people hunting buffalos to stay alive ??
Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
@MRX911 Yeah they're for the in-game signs. For instance, WYO 150 will not be in the game and likely only show up on nav signs around exit 5 in Evanston. So not confirming WYO 120 being driveable... we might just have signs show up along US 20 in Thermopolis. WYO 120 would be a good road to have if we do in fact get Cody, though, so I'll hold onto hope
WYO 158 is interesting, though. That's pretty far on the eastern edge of the state. Probably shown on signs along US 85 south of Torrington I'd guess.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Yes there is a separate section in content browser that has UI pictures. The ones I posted are for signs only.
These are the UI/ Map overlay images that have been added so far.

With that being said many routes make it into the game that do not have UI images. Although usually it is not the full length of that route that ends up being included.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Hmmm. We have some adds since your last post here. viewtopic.php?p=1512248#p1512248
WY-212, WY-22,WY-222, WY-351.
WY-222 was to be expected with that Walmart Distribution center. WY-22...if that linked up ID-33, I'd be royally surprised. WY-212 is the loop in Cheyenne. I guess that was somewhat expected based on blogs. WY-351 came out of no where though. I don't expect much with it. Without US-189, it won't do a lot.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
WYO 351 is also very interesting. Perhaps confirming US 189 and US 191? I didn't think we'd have US 189 but wonder what the point in connecting the two roads will be, particularly that close to where they connect? Is there an industry off of 351 that might be included?

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Thanks @Bedavd for the explanation, it's much clearer now.
WY-22 and ID-33 would clearly be a welcome surprise as none seem to show up in the game yet, more roads like these are welcome additions. WY-351 is 24 miles irl, so that would be a little over a mile in game, maybe there's a remote depot or remote viewpoint there? I only see a peak called Ross Butte on the map. Or it could be the small road showcased in the teaser where they had bisons at night?

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Yes, WY-351 is intriguing. I don't want to get my hopes up so I'm writing it off as not much. Butttt if I had to take a guess, I'd want it to be this area here. https://www.google.com/maps/@42.5862466 ... !1e3?hl=en. Looks like its oil/gas related with quite a few spots. It could be a chain of oil/gas just like Price, Moab and Vernal is with the multiple roads around (2) oil/gas prefabs. If you look further South from WY-351 in satellite view, this is definitely an oil/gas area.
If we got US-189, that would be a huge surprise but I'd take it. North of US-30 (Kemmerer) to connect to US-191 is good enough for me. There are signs in Evanston that somewhat hint at US-189 but I can't imagine all of US-189. Then again, do we get it instead of US-30 connecting to I-80 to save space for Little America and Green River? We'll find out eventually.
For WY-22/ID-33, if we got that road.........oh man. I'd know exactly why the devs did it too and this is why. You can't deny that scene.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Where WY-351 meets US-191, anybody checked google maps?
No?
There's a Crossroads/Sinclair mini fuel stop https://www.google.com/maps/@42.6048934 ... a=!3m1!1e3
While where WY-351 meets US-198, there is Sublette Co Fairgrounds https://www.google.com/maps/@42.5848562 ... a=!3m1!1e3
I believe more on a possible fueling possibility.
Bedavd, WY-158, that I missed to check. And yeah, that is interesting. There is no WY-92 sign. WY-161 sign not found either.
Is either WY-92 or WY-161 omitted? Due to scale?
Or what is going on?
Forum, please let me post this message, okay?

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
It's fantastic if we can see Tetons from West side. but right now, the road that goes to Rexburg goes to empty space in this update.also, I could not find any sign of existence of ID31, but it's fine if WY22/ID33 exist.
