Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
They already did a gas stations/truck stops blog and a road network/intersections blog, so those can be checked off the list too.Vinnie Terranova wrote: ↑03 Aug 2021 16:20 So... we got a Weigh Station blog, now a Rest Area blog... What's next? A Gas Station blog, a Bridges blog, a Road Intersections blog, a Train Crossing blog, a High Voltage Power Lines blog?

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Maybe a trains blog?
Railway stations, crossing, under - / overpass, loops
Maybe Coal Train Loading Facility in Wyoming's Powder River Basin or other places of interest for some personal railfanning

..and I think that's the main reason why some people get impatient and say that these kind of blogs are "boring" (even if they aren't).JohnMc19 wrote: ↑03 Aug 2021 16:30We were all wrong lolThatWeirdTrucker wrote: ↑03 Aug 2021 16:20
We've been getting weekly blogs since end of May. I thought that Wyoming was right around the corner because of that, but I was wrong.
I have the feel that this pretty long time of weekly blog posts wasn't intended to be that long.

Wyoming: Welcome Areas and Rest Stations. We're up to 19 total Wyoming blogs.

Pic 2: Southeast Wyoming Welcome Center off of I-25 just south of Cheyenne. The next four pics are of this location, and it can be visited now in game by hoping the barriers north of Fort Collins, CO.

Pic 11: Looks like its the same Rest Area also featured in this blog photo from June 2nd. The closest match we could make was the Southpass Rest Area along WYO 28, though there are far more hills in the SCS version so I'm not 100% convinced, but it's the closest I can find.

The Idaho World of Trucks event ends on August 15th, there's no way they'd release before then.
Not sure what people are expecting.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
This blog is an outright mockery. if Wyoming is not ready yet why we need uninformative blogs.
Maybe devs are deliberately delaying the release to narrow the gap between Wyoming and Texas nevertheless they could tell us something about California update, Texas dlc or something about adding new roads and cities

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
If September 1 comes and goes without a release month on Steam, that's when I'll start to get a bit worried. Until then I'm not worried. Sure the blogs are getting tedious but they're not doing that because they want to annoy us, I think it's becoming more and more clear that Wyoming is *internally* delayed and that's OK. I want a good product on release and if that takes time then fine. But later than September starts to get a bit concering.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
^Agreed. Its internally delayed for a reason because its not ready. Not because of Texas and definitely not to annoy us. Why would you stop yourself from making money? The dlc will release when it's ready. The impatience here is going thru the roof. People should be happy that SCS won't just toss a product out the door and purposely fix later just because they can.
Address what you know is an issue now or fans will rip you a new one. No release date, no harm. People just need to chill and wait.

My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
If it's not too much to ask, I would prefer California or Texas blogs. I already think we can buy Wyoming along with Texas 2022.
