In real-life, the weigh station sensor is way past the High Plains Road exit. There's a significant amount of distance between the exit and the weight station IRL. But in-game, they're like right on top of each other due to the map scale. That's probably why the sensors are on the exit ramps.

Now we have an even better chance of getting Cody and the missing sections of US-14 and US-287, it could come with update 1.43 this year

Ceco, based on what?

supersobes Sensor and weigh station seem to be quite close to each other IRL. Can't remember if all are that close. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/41.0727 ... 819102!3e0 .
Could a better sensor placement ingame been after the bridge? but that would put it even closer to the weigh station.

@Shiva Because the community of players wants it and it is very desirable

I don’t think the chance of getting it has increased since the release of Wyoming.

It's easy that people transform the Yellowstone example on a category and start thinking that SCS will add anything that "the community of players" want. IRL things don't work that way. Yellowstone was added because SCS had the opportunity and the resources available to do it. If not, it wouldn't had care at all how much "the community of players" would had wanted Yellowstone to be added. How much we could want something is just one between test or even hundreds of factors that SCS had to manage to decide what content adds and what content cuts.

@Some newbie driver in fact Yellowstone was considered AFTER input from the community; not because they had the time and resources:
SCS wrote:But as the release got closer, we have started receiving more and more input from the fan community suggesting that we should reconsider. Eventually, we decided that we should add an extra couple of weeks of production time and figure out a way for players to access the region.

Only partly true. If they hadn't had the time and resources it still wouldn't have been done.

@Vinnie Terranova is what Madkine said what I meant.

Of course they are not going to do such kind of changes if we players don't request them. But the fact that request them alone, no matter how loud could the request be, it's not the main factor. If they had no place in the schedule to do so, they are not going to delay a couple of weeks the next DLC.

Luckily for those who wanted YS so much, since past year the regular DLC schedule is completely out of place and as next DLC is going to be so big and no way inside a normal schedule, it wasn't so relevant for them to do the YS part. The delay in other projects that this decision could cause will be way less noticeable. If the delay caused due YS could had put in danger to release a DLC in December (as an hypothetical example), I bet you YS would had ben cut out without hesitation. Maybe included later in an update, but cut out on the release for sure.

Actually Vinne is correct. Yellowstone was create because of the community. They made time for it. If they had resources and time it would have been planned day one, it wasn't. It was during closed beta. If it was because they had time, Wyoming wouldn't have been delayed. It was delayed to get YS in day one. No YS day would would have caused a lot more issues with sales and negativity. SCS avoided this by pushing Wyoming's release date.

Once yukonjack started posting in this thread to confirm YS can be serviced, the pressure was on SCS to add for Wyoming. YS was not going to make day one Wyoming. The plans was either later or not at all. Pavel stated it was his call to not do it at first with Wyoming. SCS needed a local with experience to make sure it was possible. Yukonjack works for a company that serves the park daily. This is local information SCS can not obtain. Manpower was not there. Once Wyoming went into open beta, that is when most people task for Wyoming was done as they moved on. Now there is manpower available so no. Resources and time....that had to be created later in the development.
