Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
@oldmanclippy It would be challenging to request a new viewpoints reskin of California + all cities, new trailers, and the addition of Cody US-14 and US-287, all in one update, a few new roads in other map DLC, for example to Utah to fill that ugly hole, if Cody doesn't come before Montana release, the ugly hole in another state will be repeated

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
I've come to the conclusion that the absence of Cody bothers me a lot more than the absence of US-14. I know it's not the popular opinion around here but I'd be at peace with it if Cody was added but the US-14 connection to YS was not. That being said, I don't think it'd be too much trouble to put a newbie on the job of connecting Cody with West Thumb so it still should come IMO.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Honestly, the absence of both US 14 and Cody still bothers me less than the absence of a road that goes north from Salmon, Idaho. Now, the latter is all but guaranteed to become available once Montana drops. But this leads me to believe that additions to Wyoming before Montana are unlikely.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
I have to agree with @nautofon both bother me. I can deal with South Utah's hole but this Wyoming one, doesn't make a lot of sense. Cody/US-14 is just as bad as the missing Sandpoint to Colville via US-2 and WA-20.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

1. Colville via US-2 and WA-20.
2. South Utah
3. Cody
far down the list. US-14, west of Cody

The problem is, we don't know SCS's list so its impossible to say what is in line and what isn't.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
I have to agree with @Shiva's list for the most part. Mine would probably look something like:
1. Connect Sandpoint with Colville
2. Cody in WY
3. Complete the roads that end abruptly in New Mexico
4. US-26 in Oregon
5. Get a road in the Southeast Utah gap
6. Newcastle in WY
7. US-14 from Cody to West Thumb
I've given up on connecting Salmon with Boise.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Kind of odd people are still going off about Cody.
There is one route where this would be helpful, Sheridan to the west, and even then you still have to go by Jackson to cross into Idaho.
This is typical edge of state stuff, we should expect this. When Montana drops either Cody will be there or other routes will work just as well, not sure what all the fuss is about. Wyoming is a fantastic map.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
@oldmanclippy Salmon to Boise. I assume you are referring to ID-21?d Maybe someday. I still have hope that once the reskin for the base map is done, that team will go thru the entire West and add some of those most talked about roads. The team could cover one state every six months a bet if one person did 1-2 roads each.
@russ99 US-14 from Cody to YS/Jackson is a bit more valid than that for me. You have to think Montana, Nebraska and even maybe the Dakotas. There is Billings, Miles City and Glendive to Jackson. There is Bozeman, Butte, Missoula, Helena, Great Falls and Kalispell that people could obvious take I-90 to I-25, but if you want the scenic route you can take US-14/US-26 to Riverton, Casper and Cheyenne.
A step further is Nebraska. US-14 thru YS via Cody to Gillette and onwards to US-20 in Nebraska. Not everyone wants or prefers to take interstates though. I'm not an interstate type of guy. I'd rather the backroads. The best roads in the game are the backroads.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
I've suspected that since the rework started, that has taken manpower away from adding roads/touching up areas in newer DLCs like we've seen in the past (think Oregon 140). You guys have touched on most of the important ones, but others I'd like to see:
- US 24 from Colorado Springs to Limon
- OR 38
- WA 155 from Grand Coulee to Omak, get rid of that dead-end
- US 89 from Ogden to Brigham City, eliminate Ogden's one-way-in/one-way-out arrangement
- Eastern NM Raton/Tucumcari/Clovis/Hobbs N/S route
- NM 219
