I'm willing to guess we'll get open beta in the next 2-3 weeks. We'll need to be full public release of 1.43 for the xmas event if the event is week 2-3 in December. I don't recall the xmas event ever running on open beta.

I'm sure open beta 1.43 will be released this week or next, at least for ETS2, because we still don't have any information on what will bring 1.43 to ATS

Whether your prediction is correct or not, lackness of info ain't be a reason for pre-release. If they're working on something new, they need longer period btw 1.42 o.b. to 1.43 o.b. 1.42 was not satisfied, they should add something in terms of content for 1.43 imo.

Actually they don't need time between updates if the previous update didn't involve the same people or task are minimal per update.

Prime example is the 1.37 update that brought fmod. 1.37 ob went on forever. We got 1.38 open beta to bring in Idaho in a short time after 1.37 went public. If I recall, it was 1-1.5 months between. Fmod was sound only for the most part. 1.42 is mostly mod support for convoy and ffb. So if updates don't involve ffb or mod support, other teams have been working towards 1.43 all along.

Not for ATS, but ETS2 had a lot of info about things coming on 1.43; so you could expect it to be soon. Then it's a matter to guess what 1,43 will bring for ATS.

It's possible there's not so much info about what could come for ATS because until Wyoming launch there was plenty of ATS info to fill the wait; while for ETS2 they had to tease more updates content to fill the long wait until HoR.

Is there any map rework that was teased and it's still not released? That would be a very probable content.

I believe in Reskin California Phase 2 with cities as well, and addition US-14, Cody and US-287 to Wyoming, these things I would like and I would be happy, I am not very demanding
