^I've ran thru connections a few times actually. I first mentioned Hulett in Sept. In Dec, hoped to get this routing. And a little more recently in last month to pitch for US-85. Of course it doesn't mean it would have happened. But at least we can see DT has made its way into the game. So now the cover are is valid and your pic designations on your map is valid. :D

Only way I see SCS doing it is exit 153 with Moorcroft as scenic no matter what. It gets us to US-14, then to WY-24. I'd be surprised if we get both ends of US-14 though.

For US-85, if we get exit 153 2 things I pointed out before. 1) US-16 gets us to WY-450 which is where Black Thunder is. 2) If we can get US-16 to WY-450, then why not Newcastle which brings in US-85.

Late for the party :P but today's blog post about Devils Tower was amazing :) I was thinking before this blog post, that Devils Tower would be just a passing landmark with only a viewpoint, but the whole region will be important. I hope we have Yellowstone park and your own blog post!

Moorcroft or Sundance as the Devils Tower connection? That is a good question.

Are people more calm now?! with the release of this blog, regarding Devils Tower.

@Texshi That should actually be a horse trailer. Although cattle could fit, they don't transport cattle in bulk in those.

I'm praying for Sundance to make it. Sundance has truck areas off of exit 188 and a port of entry off of exit 189. Sundance and Spearfish can get the same treatment as Spokane and Coeur D'Alene even though that didn't work so well...

St. Helens and Crater Lake is that you have no reason to go near them during regular gameplay. Very glad that we’re getting an excuse to get close via deliveries.
Yes, I strongly agree! 👍
Especially for Mt. St. Helens... Would have been better to have a company there, gameplay-wise.

"Chance" perhaps being the key word here.

Devil's Tower is not on usa.dds. However, it wasn't explicitly disconfirmed by usa.dds either - usa.dds has a number of spur routes not marked on the map, such as Crater Lake, Mt St Helens, and various logging/quarry routes. If Devil's Tower is just a spur with a depot or two, there's a chance it wouldn't be on the map to begin with - at least, not until South Dakota made it important to identify where Wyoming's portion of I-90 actually ends (akin to CA 299, where the Deepgrove is specifically visible on usa.dds because it's where California ends and Oregon's DLC begins.) This argument was a key point in the idea that Devil's Tower was still in the game back when that map first leaked. But the flipside of this argument is also true - if Devil's Tower is a spur that wouldn't be marked on the map in the first place, its confirmation doesn't mean anything for other areas that were excluded from the map.

By contrast, Yellowstone would definitely be marked on the map just because it's a full connection.

Curious about this viewpoint. Good opportunity to sneak in some Close Encounters-related silliness. :D
