Green River more practical as WY-530 is straighter road and US-191 Flaming Gouge is problematic in winter and not built for trucks with longer trailers.

That stretch of I-80 between Utah and Rock Springs is going to be busy. They've gotta find room for Evanston, US 189 (?), US 30, Green River, US 191, and then Rock Springs. I would imagine Rock Springs would need to be shifted east, which would be fine, as there's plenty between Rock Springs and Rawlins that can be cut out.

I'm 99,999% sure that Rock Springs is shifted east.
And even then space will be an issue. I'm quite interested how it will look. And what they have made fit.
Little America Truck Stop, in Little America is confirmed atleast :)

Yes, Little America is confirmed so is Evanston. Evanston can be seen already in the model so its space is accounted for. What we do not know is if US-189 and Green River is part of the equation. US-191 is a given. We can see it coming North from Vernal in the model already. I wouldn't doubt Rock Springs and US-191 getting pushed East. There is plenty of space and when driving, we can't tell anyways. Only looking at the world map would reveal things are off. I'd slide Rock Springs to where Point of Rock is if that means we can get Green River in as scenic.

At 1:20 scale, there will always be a give or take. Most cities are fine getting shifted one way or another. I'd take a shift vs a delete all day long.

flight50, yeah, Rock Springs could be around Point of Rocks, Wyoming, USA. Or maybe even further east.
Central part of Evanston is about 20miles northeast of IRL.
I-80 Exit 6 ingame is where Exit 33 is IRL. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/41.2678 ... m2!4m1!3e0
Exit 3 is IRL somewhere between/around Exit10 and 13.
The ingame exits 3 and 6 of Evanston, they would be about here in google maps https://www.google.com/maps/dir/41.2689 ... m2!4m1!3e0 .
I am counting where the roads pass below or above I-80. Evanston west and east exits take about 20miles of IRL space. vs 2,5miles "2,8miles if driving" IRL.

The I-80 corridor is starting to look a little crowded. Looking at the game map, I can imagine the locations of Cheyenne, Laramie, Rock Springs, and Evanston, with Laramie pushed a little further west than IRL, and Rock Springs a little further east (so it's due north of Rangely in-game). And then there's Rawlins, which hasn't been confirmed as a marked city, IIRC, but seems like a logical choice, because of its size and amount of industry. That's five marked cities over around 375 miles of road.

For reference, I-15 from the Arizona state line to the crossing of the Bear River (or between Brigham City and Tremonton in the game) is about the same distance. There are also five marked cities strung out along that stretch, but the northernmost three are all close together. Cheyenne and Laramie can't be too close, otherwise there won't be space for Sherman Summit, and between Evanston and Rock Springs there has to be space for Little America and, ideally, Green River. Toss in Rawlins, and I don't know how much space will be left over to capture that open, desolate, hilly wilderness.

Furthermore, I consider that I-80 across Nevada must be redone next.

We'll just have to wait and see. I honestly don't see much of an issue. Nampa/Boise and CDA/Spokane are very close. It it what it is but I'm not concerned at all about the I-80. I'm more concerned about I-80 in Nevada looking like poo compared to Wyoming.

Sherman Summit Rest Area is ingame.
But the distance from it to Cheyenne, is very short.
Buford is next to Walmart or is it Walbert? ingame. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Buford/ ... 196861!3e0

Is there a good grade from Cheyenne up to Sherman Summit in-game? Being the highest point of I-80, it should feel nicely elevated above Cheyenne and Laramie.

Grades mean everything in the West. So far, Colorado has nailed elevations. Washington has good elevations as well. Idaho and Utah leaves some to be desired. I hope California and Nevada rebuilds justify the lands. Wyoming, we have a new map lead so lets hope his attention to detail is up there. Small details might seem minor to some but certain people pick up on the misses. Sure there are scale issues but after seeing what they were able to pull off in Colorado, scale is not the major issue to get in grades. I'm not buying that anymore. Colorado's grade blend very well and seem very natural without over exaggerating anything. Cut out other parts if you must but getting elevations in where they should be, truly pulls the environment together.
