You'll never experience that in ATS fortunately. Now you can change the traffic ratio yourself or use a traffic mod to increase traffic perhaps.

I really hope we get that sign in eastern Texas that lists how far El Paso is, it’s in Beaumont Texas I believe, can’t wait to see how it is to drive from San Antonio to El Paso, a lot of open road, and Dallas looking forward to that too.

Texas is the key to the south states. And the key if they go for 3 map teams.
Even the key if they instead go with 2 bigger map teams.

Very excited to see Galveston. I wasn't sure it'd make it -- it's not a super large city, and it'd make Houston even more annoying to map. But it has a number of cool industry options, and a ton of cool landmarks.

Like the one they teased.

I wonder. Will Galveston be its own city? Or be part of greater Houston area?
Could SCS please, finally give those small dot cities to ATS? As they have done in ETS2.

galveston probably will be its own city. its 50 miles away form Houston and on an island, so the distance can be fudged a but with the causeway and such. I wonder if the refineries in Texas City will be deliverable or if it will all be Galveston. I also wonder if theGalveston-Bolivar Ferry will be in the game, since it would give another way to Beaumont up TX 87 and then up TX 124.

As for the Houston and Galveston pics, I can give a pretty good idea of where exactly they are:

Houston:
https://www.google.com/maps/@29.7443437 ... 384!8i8192
that is interstate 45 going north, crossing over Texas State Highway 288. the big white stadium is the Toyota Center, home of the Houston Rockets NBA basketball team.

Galveston:
https://www.google.com/maps/@29.2992707 ... 8192?hl=en
It says Texas state highway 87, but in Galveston thats Broadway (or Avenue J) at 25th street. The statue is the Texas Heroes Monument. the Red building behind the statue looks like the Moody Mansion.

Considering the shape of the states and layout of the biggest main roads on there... I would say Oklahoma before Montana would make more sense.

But at the same time SCS says that they don't like to work on adjacent places simultaneously to avoid lose time by interferences. So probably Montana followed by Oklahoma.

I am wondering if they going do like 610, beltway 8, and Grand Parkway 99

It will be cool to drive through those highways
