Pic 6 is the Hardeman County Rest Area along US 287 looking along the SB lanes. Kinda from this position.

Also picture 12, the sign behind definitely says "[something] Ranch" but I cannot make out that top word/words for the life of me. Anyone have any clues? Looks like there's a large, multistory building on the hill in the far background. Maybe a hotel?
I don’t know how you even figured out where pic 6 is. There’s nothing remarkable about it to me. But good job!

Regarding the sign in pic 12, I think it just says “The Ranch”, which doesn’t really help I’m afraid.

Lol awe dang. That wont be very helpful then. I don’t know if I’ll be able to find the locations for any of the other photos so I guess I’ll just have to wait until the next blog. Everything else seems a bit too vague for me.

^Agreed. To vague and Texas is toooooo big. You'd get a headache trying to pinpoint everything. I won't even attempt with every blog.

Don't you know this one ? It's absolutely the shack outside La Grange. I'd like to see it since day 1.

Texas will become a leader in the number of unmarked cities on the map, communities I suspect these cities are called

We call them towns actually. But yes you are probably right. That is one of the main reasons I love the back roads. Towns seem to pop out of no where. My memory is bad and I don't always take the same routes. No to mention, I don't play enough to remember most things.

I can see Texas having a few unmarked cities as well, like Arlington (how neat would it be to see Six Flags Over Texas from I-30?), Temple (assuming it won't be marked, since that area might get crowded with Austin and Waco), New Braunfels, etc. Mostly satellite cities.

Texas will surely become a leader in a lot of things; due to its sheer size, it's guaranteed. It'll stay the king in number of marked cities, unmarked cities/towns, garages, road miles, etc.

Furthermore, I consider that I-80 across Nevada must be redone next.

Yeah its the size and content. Now this is for the US. Canada provinces are even larger than Texas by area. I'm not positive if all provinces will out do Texas in regards to town quantities, but the sheer amount of space is ginormous with tge provinces. Off roading galore. ProMods might at least take take advantage of the space. Hopefullythey inspire SCS enough to follow suite..

But for SCS, Texas will have to do for the most we can get for the next decade or so. Whatever they pack in it, will all come to light one day. The cruising Texas event should be a big deal. With this new region ciming to ATS, I'm keeping my fingers crossed to see what happens with ICC'S. Not to mention, graphically what Annie can do for the dlc.

This would be amazing. It could be "Call for a tow truck on I-45 between Houston and Galveston after damaging your truck X%"
