I'm 99% sure my first trip in Texas will be from Cheyenne to Austin to set up HQ.

Tristam-94 wrote: 17 Sep 2021 08:42 Texas' land area is about 19% of the total US land area.
Texas: 268,596 square miles
Lower 48, contiguous land: 2,959,064 square miles

So Texas is about 9% of the lower 48 states land area.

Yeah, I don't know how I got the result I wrote before. Must have used a wrong number somewhere.

festmache, you're mixing total area and land area in those numbers.
But the % won't change much anyway.

DFW might indeed not be the state capital, but it IS his home...

@Larry71490 I run 3 profiles.
Profile 1 - my original since I bought ATS June 2016. I run light mods here that don't typically break when SCS updates. @ALT2870 said it correctly. DFW is not the capitol. On this profile, each new dlc I have a tradition in which I set up HQ in each capitol for each new dlc.
Profile 2 - open beta/bug testing. I have this set in Salem, Or. I never change it really.
Profile 3 - I made this to run SN and ProMods Canada along with truck mods (K100 right now) and a few others that I don't run on the light mod profile. Plus all my light mods from Profile 1. Now this profile, I will set it to DFW permanently. I don't run SN anymore since they merged it with Mexico so I only run ProMods and everything else I explained.

I don't play Profile 3 often because it can't be included with WoTr. But the more Canada comes, the more I'll play. On profile 1 though, I run this profile 95% of the time currently. I'm trying to rack up and many miles on my original truck. I only run a W900 there. I'd like to go to 500k miles someday. Unfortunately I'm only at like 320k. I try to run other trucks on Profile 3 though. But I have a W900 there too for when the K100 isn't updated or if I run another SCS truck. I'm waiting for the 5700 or 122SD to run there.
