I'm pretty sure it's not working for 'trailer_chains[]: "truck_semi"' - I've tried it both with and without the tag thing. Plus the unmodified SCS "single" trucks are showing up with "long" trailers - all the "long" trucks in my Multiple trailer mods (including the ones included by SCS) have chrome wheels but I've spotted Pete 389 day cabs on steel wheels hauling triples.

in theory doubles are the type of trailers "long" and cannot spawn for normal trucks since their trailer_chains is truck_semi, only for the trucks with trailer_chains: truck_long. I don't think I have seen other trucks than those supposing to haul doubles in traffic but I will pay attention!b
actually maybe SiSL can explain which is the best approach to build personalized combos without modifying other files to add the "!tag" for me I can sacrifice one type of trailers and build one for all personalized combos, but maybe the best is to put all personalized trailers in the type custom, which will not spawn except to the truck with the same chain trailer definition (the explicit unit name in the guides) for this to work it's needed that the custom type will receive tags: road
I see also what SiSL did in his pack, he assigned some tags to his trucks to haul only his trailers, while others are left alone to haul any trailers. however these trailers with tags will be also selected by other trucks as well, there is no interdiction not to haul them even with tags

It seems there's still a lot of problems with1.38.1.1. I read that there was another update to 1.38.2 or 3, but haven't seen it yet. I almost said "to hell with it" and went back to 1.37. But actually I wasn't in any hurry to see 1.38, seeing that every time we get an update many of us have issues.

One question... Did SCS add the Western Star to ATS? I have no mod for one. And I've found a Western Star dealership with only one model to sell.

I finally got the Quick Jobs to show but as soon as I tried to select one ATS crashed. I want to use that to "Discover" the last 2 cities that I need in Idaho.

1. There is a new ATS beta build 1.38.8 and it's available on Steam for now. It's just bug fixes, nothing major and will be released sometime in the near future.

2. Yes the Western Star is coming, when?, only SCS knows for sure and if you see a western star dealership in your game there's a mod def file somewhere pointing to that dealership.

3. mod issue.

No WS truck has been published, new trucks always come with a lot of party noise. ;)

It was a nice surprise, especially considering its quality. I haven’t driven anything else in ATS since it dropped.

If you have a Western Star available it's come from a mod. SCS haven't released one yet.
