many beautiful trailers are not in traffic, like the yacht but it can be enabled, clone the trailer file and change the title and the def into a traffic_trailer def, then make a trailer storage (@include) file in def/vehicle

There used to be a "bobtail hotspot" on I-15 northbound between I-10 and Barstow (unless it was just me) even post-trailer_chains but I don't think it's there any more.

I would rather think at immersion because people would complain that they have never seen this in real traffic... I have it in my traffic and did not have any single issue with it and as performance hit this is minimal not more than any other Ai trailers in game but cannot be sure with a low end PC what would be...

Yep. I asked Max about getting more trucks in the truck stops several months ago and that was pulled off nicely. The truck stops are not 100% packed and that's okay, but mannnnn is it more loaded than it was. Looks great now. Now not all trucks stops are this way but enough are done to showcase the potential. Most notable are the truck stops in Vegas. The AI truckers is pretty important for me. I am cool hauling my load, but I'd like to see others hauling cool stuff too. Vans, dumpers and tankers do get repetitive. I don't even recall seeing the AI really haul car transport unless I am using JazzyCat's mod which I stopped some time ago.

Iberia will be first at the revamped car industry so I wonder if the trailers get reworked to be better optimized with dx11. On the ATS side, we definitely need reworked trailers. They are too short for one. There needs to be at least 1 more car to each row.

@flight50 I agree the car transporter could get get a remake, although regarding the amount of cars it should haul I guess depends on the trailer manufacturer, as there are some out there (the types that class 8 rigs can use, mind you) that haul the same or even less than what we have now. But, I have no doubt that when this particular trailer is remade for TO it will have at least a couple variants that can haul a few more cars/trucks/SUVs.

EDIT: I may have accidentally found the exact model SCS made in-game (in the link).

On ETS 2 you see far more car haulers in traffic than in ATS, at least thats the impression I get.

Someone mentioned lack of lowboys in traffic.. its funny that I've been playing ATS a lot lately yet I did not noticed at first, but after reading about it I started noticing. I do see empty ones parked though
