YES! YES! YES! We are finally breaking @flight50 What is this!? Looking at the Mack, the W900 not good enough... omg, I gotta go get my glasses to make sure I read this correctly! :O :O :O :O

The Mack is lovely, sounds amazing, but some might go mad because the mirrors are abit far out there, and I get that some get annoyed by that,
lol. Ikr. The Mack mirrors or any truck for that doesn't bother me. I use TrackIR so mirrors are a none factor for me. The W900 is good enough, the sound isn't, lol. In vanilla mode that is. I use Kriechbaum's mod for regular game play outside of beta testing.

I have the Tobii 4C ... HOT GARBAGE!!! OMFG... REFUND FPLIXXX? Trade... lol? xD
Even with my new PC its still terrible. I was told it might been my old CPU, it wasnt, its just as bad now.... and I have a 144 hz 1080p 27" monitor too now to get even more smooth frame rates and stuff.
Altho, ATS and ETS2 is tough, you can have great FPS and then suddenly drop down to half in certain places. I got 110 - 130 fps even at 400% scaling in ATS but in some areas its down to 50 fps in this patch.
I have lowered the settings abit to help but its hard to get a good balance atm.

And the W900 nor the 389 is good enough, come on! Its not legal in California and the model is based on a mix of trucks over the past 15 years probably.

Mac optimizations? I wonder what kind.

Only differences I notice are when launching the game, a box pops up for a bit before going into full screen, pressing enter to skip the opening cinematics makes a sound, once in game steam overlay no longer comes up(shift + tab) while ETS2 does even though it’s tiny, I also can’t see FPS counter though it doesn’t feel slower at the start, but the game seems to get more laggy the longer I play.

I Love the Mack. Te only think that bothers me is that i can't use my shifter with it. Not that you can't do it, but having R,N,D with this big leters looking back at you from the dash kills the imersion.

Thats is why I use autoshift with stock trucks and manual with syncro off from console for mod trucks.

I just took a ride on the new UT-56 road. And wow... it has to be one of the best landscapes that SCS has ever made. Everything felt really natural and really took you in. With uneven road barriers, crooked telephone poles and a fantastic variety of foliage. Whoever made this road at SCS is a wizard. I am thoroughly impressed. (*edit* nice! page 56)

Ditto on UT-56. It is for sure one of the many great roads. That is why I tend to like the back much better. The detailing is there for sure. Seems as though with narrower less urban roads, more detailing can go into it. Imagine if all the base map was to the level that current dlc back roads are in. I am not asking for that, but imagine. I think the efforts should be geared towards new roads and new map dlc vs, redoing all the roads in the base map. When they make connections to the base map roads with new roads, they do spice up the scenery and it looks great. UT-56 to NV-319 connection can be felt on the Nevada side. You can tell the differences but the do blend it in fairly well. I am happen it wasn't a drastic transition. They put some effort into blending a new dlc road with a base map road.
