18 months..........nice. Already you have surpasses the operations of CSIO and TA. Neither of them lasted much more than a year before they went corrupt. 18 Months sounds pretty stable if you as me. If SCS does someday come out with their version of MP, that's something I can get behind and I'll definitely be getting me a STG mic box to go along with my shifter.

Anywho, I was just playing the xmas event and will do so all weekend long. I'm loving my upgrade from the Mega Shifter to the STG. No regrets on my purchase. A real Eaton definitely feels much better than my previous shifter. Its hard to explain, but my new setup feels a lot more realistic than the last one. From my days of working a warehouse job with I got to load and dock trucks, the shifter feels more like I remember from way back then. There is decent amount of resistance that feels much better......and no I didn't tighten the set screw on my shifter, lol. Its the added weight of my new shifter. Its like the components add a few extra grams of weight and if feels so much better when going in and out of the gates.

If you have a Thrustmaster TH8A, I highly recommend a STG shifter. Save up your pennies or whatever. They are a game changer if you really love driving 13/18 speeds in ATS/ETS2. The shifter will definitely work on Logitech shifters of course but the immersion just isn't the same because the Logitech have zero resistance in the shift. Main reason I upgraded from Logitech to Thrustmaster. The Logitech is all plastic and not as robust as the TH8A.

Will it fit on an SHH shifter?

If so, is there any way to get an order in, processed, and delivered before November?
I've actually been here since 1/5/14. ;)

Contact him on fb. But I doubt very seriously if you get it by November. He is backlogged. Business is doing pretty good.

STG is not taking any orders until at least November.

He's a great guy but super super busy. Let him catch up a bit. Awesome products and I love my shifter as if it was day one still. I love it more than my Mega Shifter that I upgraded from. The Mega is cool but the STG feels better and is wayyy more customizable.

Good investment, contrats. It will take a while to get it due to back log, but well worth the wait. Just be patient. If you just ordered, you'll be lucky for Dec but I'm betting it will go into Q1 of next year.

I wouldn't attempt pvc if I was you. It bends and you wouldn't like how unrealistic it feels. The shift knob isn't exactly light, it has some weight to it. You need something rigid. Not to mention, there is a threaded connection inside the handle. You'd have to thread with all thread that comes with it, then somehow anchor that to the shaft. Then anchor the shifter shaft, to the G29 shaft. You have to seriously torque to a pvc shaft and pvc is too soft imho. I'd go with some form of metal rod. I got a rod off amazon to fit with couplings with set screws, but I'm using a TH8A as its a metal road. But I had to seriously torque it to keep it from moving. Now with pvc, it will create an indent but the more you torque, you'll puncture it all the way thru every time you tighten it.

I used 1/2" pvc about 13" long painted black to slip over my g29 shifter stub and tapped a hole in the front to use a set screw that holds it against the flat spot on the shifter stub. I currently have the simu-shift knob from AplusBsoftware. It's not as sturdy as metal obviously but it doesn't feel flimsy. I'm currently awaiting my STG shifter.
