Agreed, Montana is not as small as you'd think. They could probably slot in another Wyoming(-sized) if it was any other state, but this is Montana we're talking about. All in all, the chances of Montana coming before Texas is rather small

I think Pavel made it very clear in the Wyoming release stream that he wants to release Texas next year. I don't think there's any chance of Montana releasing before Texas for that reason.

Why do people keep thinking Montana has a chance before Texas? Montana isn’t even announced yet. SCS would put everyone on Texas first before pushing out another state that was announced after it. A rebuild, now that can come whenever but a dlc, no. DLC’s will release in the order announced.

Indeed, unless they run into a showstopper or two, Texas is coming next.

They are possibly well advanced in Texas. Montana probably started development recently and as the Wyoming team was small, Montana development may take longer than Wyoming.

I'm stuck in the northwest part of Montana again.

SCS has no obligation as a developer to make the Canadian border. In case Promods releases phase 2 one day, it would be nice if US-93 was brought all the way to the Canadian border by SCS.Thus, Promods would be freed from a workload in the United States.

This is what I think as well. Montana is more of Wyoming x 1.5. The entire 1/3 Western portion is still mountain ranges. Then the entire 2/3 is huge vast lands. I just hope for some new stuff or expanded industry. Oil/gas, mining, farming, new companies. We need a John Deere-ish prefab. We need another farming company but I doubt we get in with Montana. Might as well finish out the West with Bushnell and Sun Crops. Texas should bring new new ones. Better yet, the Midwest and the South is more farming region than the West so bring 2 Bushnells type farms and 2 SunCrops farms please.

Montana would be great to implement a John Deere type prefab. Go get their license please. If we can get Volvo, we should be able to land John Deere if there is no exclusive to Farming Simulator. If ATS can get a portion of Farming Simulator into ATS for the trucking side, that is a win win. At least try to approach John Deere. John Deere would be a huge boost to farming and ATS. SCS removes all license issues with John Deere 3d model look alikes. A 8-12 piece John Deere dlc would sale even better than the forestry dlc imho. Perfect dlc for the Great Plains will all that farming land. Prefabs: A John Deere Dealership and a manufacturing plant can be part of the agreement. We can still use HMS for repairs.

US-93, no point in going to the border really. Kalispell should be the end of the run. ProMods will just have to connect way down there. Not enough industry in Eureka, Montana to get SCS do go that far North.

I think that if SCS goes to the Canadian border, it would be I-15 to Sweet Grass. Lots of distribution there for at least 2 or 3 depots. I don't think the other border crossings have that kind of potential.

I honestly don't see anything North of US-2 in Montana.

as I said before, although there are nothing in terms of industry it could make easier to connect Promods to US.

oldmanclippy, yes there are some in sweet grass.

I think north of US-2 is soo heavenly. but again it's touristic thing of this geography. SCS can jump over it.
