But for example the Anthem could just have the "divider" as an accessory, since it's wipers IRL are designed in a way that allows both types of windshields installed without any changes and this is reflected in-game.
It wouldn’t require a new cab on the W900, the split windshield is optional on the aerocab W900. All that changes is the windshield wipers and rubbers ect

I mean modeling wise, I was assuming he meant the flatglass vs aerocab cab wise.

i also mean modeling wise, just to add this split window a separat cab is needed with its separate animation + interior with split windows and its own animation for the wipers

The new 579 definitely looks a lot better in fleet spec out on the road in the real world. In my opinion, the showroom marketing stuff makes it look a lot worse than it actually is.

as much as I hate to say it, I agree (lol). In fleets they aren't as bad for some reason.

Nah I made a logic shortcut. On W900 you would require a new animated model. While technically this in itself wouldn't require a new cab model, it would still require a separate def file for the cab, possibly new interior model, for sure new animated model for interior. I will also point out that W900 actually uses baked AO texture, which (as far as I remember) also includes wipers AO. So either the cab would have to be rebaked, or a separate model with new AO would have to be added.

Everything is a bit more complicated for Pete 389, since the cab part around the windshield is specifically shaped for the flat glass panes.

Freeze338 wrote: 22 Jul 2020 09:37 @Skoot 576 is vocational truck like T880 or T800. Not the classic version of 579. You can find that type of 567 on the picture and that's the main reason why Peterbilt made that model. While you cannot find any W990 like this.
I checked on Peterbilt’s website, they do offer the 567 as a semi-tractor.

Most of the trucks has semi tractor option. But SCS focuses highway trucks. Oscar said that when I asked, can we get Western Star 4700 in the game.

Otherwise I would love to have more vocationals. Not only semi tractor option but also having the other configurations is the thing that I really want to.

@tigolebitties, thanks for sharing the photo! Stevens Transport always knows how to spec their fleet. That’s definitely a good looking New 579.
