Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
If W900 have only automatic transmission in game shouldn't it have a gearshift joystick?

It is not in the game and it looks like it needs to be added.

To be fair, most new automated transmissions are now using a stalk instead, even eaton, with the pushbutton or joystick being an option(and yes, you can choose between pushbutton or joystick for both Allison and Eaton)
For reference, here what the Eaton stalk (also used for the PACCAR automated transmission) looks like :

Funy thing BTW, on daimler side, no matter which transmission, it use the same stalk, originally made for the DT12

T680 drivers What engine trans combo are you running?
I am currently using a paccar mx13 455hp with an Eaton advantage 10 speed from the paccar drive train revision mod. With a 220gal 6x4 hi rise sleeper and a 53' great Dane reefer (from Jon ruda) I am averaging 6.9-7mpg.
I looked at several truck trader sites and found that this combo was pretty common for 2018 and earlier

Depend I guess.
I admit to having an affection to the MX-13 455 Multitorque when coupled with the PACCAR Automated Transmission, or the 510 coupled with the Ultrashift MHP (13-speed).
I also admit to using a ISX15 450 Smartadvantage with the Eaton Integrated Transmission...and it's not bad!

And one more question: W900 not equipped with two piece windshield now with wipers like a bus? Is there only a panoramic windshield now available? If so, then a bit of a pity, because I like the two piece windshield more. Looks more classic.
Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
It does have split window option. Not only W900 but also Anthem has that options as well. I'm really wondering what SCS is thinking about not to implement that feature .

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
because the moment the animation differs you have to make a copy of all cabs and all interiors and a duplicate of the animations just to have a split window option, you cant make it as an accessory (granted i think one truck that has this option doesnt have a design change and it wouldnt affect it bit i dont know wich one it was)

Hey folks! I read somewhere in this forum that w900s prohibited in CA due to emissions. I could not find anything about this info's accuracy. Can you show me a paper or document that shows w900s prohibited? Is it determined by DOT or CA?

Newer W900s are fine to drive in California. Only trucks with engines older than the year 2010 will be prohibited from entering the state.
See here: https://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onrdiesel ... regsum.pdf
"Vehicles with 1995 model year and older engines should have been replaced by January 1, 2015. By January 1, 2023, all trucks and buses must have 2010 model year engines with few exceptions."
