Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
Exactly, like the western star 49x the new Volvo VHD was made for heavy loads, and certainly versions with extended cabs will be launched, but it would be good if they added the new volvo vnl and vhd 2021, this would suit the public that wants more comfort when driving (vnl) and those who like trucks with enough strength and power (vhd).

I'm guessing with the introduction of the heavy haul chassis for the current VNL means that we won't be getting a VNX or VHD.

Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
I think it will still be on the table, if only if they eventually include jobs that are more on the heavy haul or the vocational side
That said, the VNL will remain the main truck from Volvo, for good reasons(most of the game is centered around linehaul after all)

Will volvo vnl get digital cluster of FH in europe like competitors? It seems 579, T680, Cascadia now have digital clustet
Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
I don’t think we had any news about that. But it shouldn’t be difficult for VTNA to being digital dashboard to their products.

I think that physical dials will probably remain at least as an option for owner operators

Volvo VNL 25th Anniversary Limited has been released.

Volvo VNL860 (2021)

I don't think the exterior of the Sleeper has changed much in 25 years.

Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
Yup. It's not needed thb. VNL's are great for fuel saving thx to it's good shape engine and transmission. Alfa drivers reached 12mpg fuel consumtion with loaded Volvo truck if I'm not mistaken. Same driver reached 11mpg with Mack Anthem and Mack used that in their commercials.
Also interior sleeper cab design hasn't changed too much as well. They are one of the best with that shape as the comfort if I'm not mistaken. Personally I find it as the best sleeper in NA about storage, usefulness and comfort. Before VNL 860 older variants looks like this
