I agree on 3 different cabs for simplicity on SCS' part: day cab, mid roof, high roof

In terms of these new volvo trucks, I'll say
VNL: 300, 740, 760/860
VNR: 300, 640, 660
VNX: 300, 400, 740. Personally, I'm not too fond of flat roof sleepers, but the 400 would be the middle sleeper and third option besides a day cab and largest sleeper. I also hope to see 6x4, 8x4, and 8x6 chassis options since this is the heavy haul truck of the brand.

I also agree with those people that wish for every cab option in game as in real life, but two things: 1) how often is the vnl 400 seen out on the road? for me, I don't know if i've seen it ever and 2) like @supersobes said that would be a lot more work for SCS (especially looking at the cascadia and all the different cab options/lengths)

If I'm not wrong, SCS focuses on configurations which are common in fleet trucks. In that case, the chance getting 760 is higher than that of 860.

I wouldn't necessarily say fleets, but I'd say OTR. ATS is mainly based off OTR trucking.

After 49X every type of truck could come in ATS. VNR, VNX, VHD even VAH. I was checking the Volvo's website and saw this. Did they added new sleeper cab (660) for VNR? Or I haven't realised it? I don't know but it looks really nice. One day I would like to see all of those models that Volvo is producing.

Speaking of Volvo sleepers...what's up with the version that has a table in the back? Are you supposed to sleep on a table?

LOL no. I'll show the picture for old Volvo VN770 but it shares the same feature with VNL 780 and 860. The bed is on the top. Also you can lower the table's level and put 2 pillows which supports your back on top of the table. With it you can make a bed on lower side as well.

Some setups that table is capable of being lowered and the cushions and back rests of the seats go on top of the table giving a bed to sleep on. Lots of campers have this option also. Then you can slide the cushions back to their spots as seat cushions and raise table and relax at the table for breakfast and coffee.....:)
