Actually VNL were in the Alpha phase. It's not a driveable truck but A.I. 's having VNL. Probably the interior wasn't ready but the thing is, VNL is there in 2015.

Volvo haven't changing their sleepercabs for over 20 years as the interior and exterior.

@Freeze338 Your images show exactly what I said though. The shape of the cab is different on all three of those trucks. While it's the same general design that you get on typical Volvo trucks, it's not exactly the same. The new VNL is a lot more round and aerodynamic than the older ones which consist of more flat shapes.

The sleeper part looks almost the same but let's see what happens

I want to take a bit and jump back to VNL vs VNR, since they're fairly similar in design/uses. Part of this is because I've recently started a job working for a company that moves trailers around the Procter & Gamble plant in my city, and we mostly use the VNR daycab (besides the spotter trucks that go from lot to door). We do go to offsite locations, but typically never more than 45 minutes away. Plus, besides staying on property or nearby, we work 12 hour shifts and have no need for sleepers.

Since most ATS players drive all over, I have a feeling SCS will want VNL because that is the long haul/otr truck whereas the VNR is more of the regional, short journey use truck. Even though the VNR has a daycab, midroof, and high roof sleeper options, the VNL is used for longer journeys. Perhaps they add the VNR at a later date too, almost with an intended use for company drivers since they go from garage to city and back.

Also, I'm curious as to whether they will do the 760 or 860 for the high roof VNL sleeper.

The 860 might be likely however I see it as a day cab version, a midroof sleeper, and a high roof sleeper however they could add both 760 and 860 but that depends on how common they can be found otr

@leo.arevalo12ss that depends on whether SCS decides to make more than three cab options for a truck. As someone stated on this forum, owner-operators prefer 860 cab and fleets often go with 760.

Well SCS has to stop approaching sleeper cabs in ATS like ETS2.

I wish SCS would add all of the cabs that are available on a particular truck. Most North American semi truck manufacturers offer more than just three cabs. The problem is, that would pretty much double the amount of work that SCS has to put into producing a truck. Perhaps instead of just simply adding the biggest and the smallest cab, SCS could add the three cabs that are the most common on the road. I feel like that would be a better approach than the biggest cab just because it's the top of the line configuration. In my opinion, it would make ATS feel more realistic because it would be possible to make the truck configurations that can be seen out on the road every day rather than the ones that you only typically see at truck shows and in articles about fancy trucks.

Now that i started to think about it, the older gen of the Volvo VN (this one) has the overall shape and design of the front identical to the NH we have in Brazil. When i look at the front it feels like it's the same exact truck, the only difference is the sleeper part. The NH is basically the FH cab with a VN nose stuck on it.

I agree it makes no sense to get a 579 with the most expensive sleeper but in reality it's just an aero kit added I hope they add the ultraloft and rework the t680
