I really hope this means we will finally be getting the I-80/US-101 interchange. I think it is definitely a teaser for a SF rework, there is no way they would have posted a picture of SF labeled "work in progress" if they weren't reworking it. They don't like hyping people for things that aren't happening.

SCS has used the Boise State stadium in the background of the intro to a lot of the place guessing clips, even some of the ETS2 ones.

That’s really cool, the Basemap gets the rebuilds, I’m hoping Los Angeles is next.

I had a feeling hey are rebuilding it behind the scenes and doing more then they are telling us. There releasing all these great new states so they want to keep the Basemap up to par.

I had noticed the work in progress thing a day ago on the SCS Facebook page. Thought then it was a way of teasing for the San Francisco rebuild. Hope they'll do, might put my headquarters back to where my ATS life started  . I liked the way San Francisco was done, just not practical to get to :) .

I started in SF as well. I'd rather have the whole city torn down and rebuilt from a scratch though.

My first thought least visually, San Fran was the city that needed it the least, as far as the base map goes. It actually kind of looks like a city, and it feels unique and memorable. But @HRTrucking brings up a good point...doesn't seem like a whole lot of work goes through San Fran or the west coast. Maybe this will make it more of a destination? That would be great, if they did more than just a visual facelift.

I think all the cities in Cali/Nevada/Arizona need a lot of work though, but that's probably asking too much. Just seems like most of the "cities" feel like villages where less than 1,000 people would live. Anyway, hey, I'll take any improvements we can get, no sense in complaining about a free upgrade!
