I'm no expert, but acording to what @rookie_one said the Mack mDrive does have sounds since it's a rebranded I-shift volvo transmission

In the same thread, Max said that their recordings show the the Mack mDrives does not make the sounds. It has been silenced somehow.

Then why does it have the same ratios and casing then ?

The only difference I can see is the shifting logic, but outside of that, it's the same transmission

@supersobes only way I can see this is that they found a way to muffled it, on that I wonder if it's a feature of the F generation of i-Shift(what we have in the stock ETS2 game and ATS for Volvo Trucks is the D generation(ATO3112D for the VNL as an example), the previous generation of i-shift...AFAIK the Anthem use what is equivalent to the F generation (the TMD12AFO is pratically speaking an ATO2612F)

The i-shift is pretty compact for a transmission. Volvo does have a knack for making short transmissions that are pretty solid when you think about it

they are silenced. but i never said it is completely silent.
it is SAME transmission, but for some reason it is more quiet. unfortunately, they did not gave it to me to dismantle and check why ...
sounds shall be tuned down eventually, but they are present correctly.

Ah, I see. It's temporary until the sounds can be adjusted accordingly. Thanks for the explanation, Max!
