Indeed. It's the engine sound... Otherwise it's a nice truck. 😉

Speaking about Volvo and it's sound : i've heard another Volvo not long ago, with a D13 engine(that's what the badge said anyway). The SCS sound is far from being what i hear from the real thing.

The old VNL is not a bad truck at all, I actually would like to make a VNL fleet in ATS and FH 2009 in ETS2. However, both models are... are... deep sigh.

If SCS remodel old territories and trailers why don't they remodel old truck models? Indeed, compared to the new ones, they are made slightly worse in quality, but at the same time they are good. I don't think that a manufacturer's license is needed to re-model an existing truck in the game, although I may be wrong. In any case, I think that it is necessary to bring all the models in the game to the same quality.

I wonder if very old trucks like the Iveco, Fh 2009 and the Old Man will ever get a revamp, at least like the DAF did.

If you don't like the engine sounds of the stock SCS trucks, you can always change them to what you do like, and still use the high quality trucks they make.....:)

They don't need a new license that we know of, but they do need manufacturer approval, which appears to be almost as much effort.
