Signs have a distinct advantage they use galvanizing processes and the graphics are made with weather resistive coatings. 3M makes the coatings for road signs. I can understand using them in Texas hot environment so less chances of corroding. Colorado uses both salt and a calcium chloride solution.

They've done some improvements to the on/off ramps in L.A., but of the life of me I still can't understand why the engine sounds are so flat, no engine load on or off the throttle , no pitch, idle sounds are half decent, but the jake brake sounds end way too early, I just don't get it when a well known modder here in this forum, who's been around for years and works from his home using the same software in his spare time can run circles around the default sounds. Just my two cents.

@Larry71490 I think our selection of boats is quite limited. It can be drastically expanded. Texas is the next state that is adjacent to a huge body of water since all the West is in place. Hopefully by the time Texas along with all the other coastal states and all the Great Lakes come, more boats will come. Marinas can be a bigger hit imo. Hauling boats from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific should be fun. If Oakland, San Francisco, San Diego and LA can get revamps, add marinas. Excluding cities oil cities though. Let the oil industry have those areas. We can get marinas galore in places like Florida and others that have nice beaches and/or lakes.

We can get a load or two on flatbeds though. I have some here viewtopic.php?p=1102842#p1102842. I'd really like to see the more specialized boat trailer that can house several more boats. If we can get a setup that does 2, 3 and 5 boats for now, that would be great. I'd love to haul the specialized boat trailer more but one boat isn't fun to me. I think SCS should bring on Bass Pro, Cabelas's and perhaps Academy and/or Dick's for sporting cargo. All all these places can sale water transportation. Create a retail place and call it Boat World or something. We need a retailer that sales boats just like we need a retailer than sells farming equipment. Someone has to make this stuff. It doesn't just show up at the repair shop or metal shop then haul off. Another one of those missing middle man prefabs I like to focus on.

Anywho, I think we need more variety for sure with boats just like any other cargo. I think the idea right now for SCS is it to just put something in for these different trailers and then come back later as the vehicle team has time to create more and more cargo. Eventually they will run out of trailer types to add and/or rework. The good thing about trailers they add now are new out the gate and they come owned. They don't have to get reworked later.

Do 57 foot trailers even exist because I've never seen them before
They do. As I've mentioned in a few other threads, I work for a company that moves product at the Procter & Gamble plant in town. We use 57' three axle rollerbeds to run product from the plant down our access road to the distribution center. This way we are able to fit 32 pallets on each trailer and get more product moved versus using 53' trailers like we use throughout the rest of the plant

@flight50 they need to go back and add them along the pacific coast then. A lot of them go to Florida and the Northeast.

True. I guess we only have that one in Washington huh. I don't even remember the name because I don't haul it. I need more variety to haul things. I can't just take 1 load of the same looking cargo all the time. Same with the car haulers. 2 setups. We can at least get a dozen different combinations. Between several car models and different colors, the combinations are super high. We don't need them all but some variety helps.

In 1.39eb, I noticed the lowboys have the excavator and the tractor that come in more than one color. That's the variety I'm talking about. That little bit makes be want to haul lowboys. Color, quantity and different orientation on the trailer itself can give you the impression that you have a different load. That's the kind of stuff I am looking for. Drywall and lumber is another easy one. Make (1) bundle of drywall, plywood or 2x's. Make a mixed truck (I use to off load them all the time at Home Depot). Load a full trailer with 2 stacks of drywall or plywood or all 2x's. Make a full trailer with one stack of everything. Make a trailer with partial loads of drywall or plywood or 2x's. Just with those 3 bundles of building materials, you can copy them and turn 3 cargoes, its 2 dozen configurations. You'd rarely see the exact same cargo that repetitively with so many variations.

I await the day we get an update that focuses on Cargo. A massive overhaul and a ton added to the core of the game. Make new cargo packs for hh, for special transport and make more industry cargo dlc's like the forestry pack. Farming, mining, oil/gas, construction and building materials. With all those different industries along, you are looking at 100-200 different cargo configurations on a trailer. At single stepdecks and even more options apply to it.
