It's mid January right now.I don't think the closed beta has started yet.Even if it has,i believe the closed beta will last minimum one month.I think mid-late February/early March is when the experimental/open beta will start.

I probably shouldn't ask about that here anyway.

Wyoming blogs already started. We just don't have anything new. Iberia is the push right now. Just like when ATS is about to release a map, the same should happen for ETS2. Wyoming is months away so the blogs will be slower. Iberia is around the corner so expect more of a dose for it. SCS will mix in Wyoming, California and maybe even Texas I'm sure leading up to the Summer. There there is the 49x and anything else specific to one game or the other. Technically there is more to blog about for ATS currently because it lacks so much. After Iberia, there is truck talk and anything else as well. But both games will get updates for features and anything shared in common for 1.40 and even 1.41.

We got a very small teaser on today's stream right before it ended. Truckerdog said ATS is getting something extra coming for 1.40. Speculations......49x parts and/or California..........but both those were actually revealed on the xmas stream. Truckerdog can't elaborate on it though but he did say its coming with 1.40 specifically for ATS. So if it is the 49x or California, that's not much of a surprise. I have a guess at something totally new but I will keep that thought to myself to not hype anything up. But I doubt very seriously if my thought/wishlist is coming to ATS so soon.

If it is ownable fuel/oil tankers and car trailers...that would be great to me :) But ETS 2 is also having those trailers, not currently ownable of course.I think it has to be something else, for ATS only.
But i'm taking 49X sleepers as well.

I am not sure whether the 49X parts will come with 1.40. They are part of a dlc rather than the game itself, so they don't need an update. On the other hand, they probably will require the new lighting system to work properly. California rework might be possible, but I expect that one in 1.41 instead (but you never know). Apart from that, maybe a new trailer or a new road or something?
