Ahhhh yeah, I played that game a lot back in the day. In fact I was about to start playing it again until I realized ATS existed.

I'm not sure what mod if any caused this issue, but I feel driving with the window down, would be more effective than driving with the door open.

It's a bug in the current game version at the moment.
SCS setup the LOD model wrong for the Ford Taurus.
It should be fixed in the next update, hopefully.
