With what @FalleN_KinG said is the exact reason I don't bother with TruckersMP. I would rather wait for a SCS official MP.

^Yep I totally agree. There will always be buttholes that ruin your fun. Eventually MP would have to come and that time is now. MP may not be for everyone but remember that its not time wasted because someone truly wants it. We don't all have the same desires and wants. This could be a game changer for many people. Not everyone wants to play a campaign. The more modes that enter SCS game play model, the better. This is a great opportunity to open the games up for sure.

@Larry71490
Hello!
I just wanted to share my experience with TMP if I can:
So, I've been playing TMP since 2015 (I've got more than 6000h only on TMP) and I can say the following..
2 are the ways to not be destroyed by this type of players:

1) Don't drive where more than 300 players drives everyday, this is the place where Youtuber gets theyr "crash compilation" and all k**s wants to be famouse so.. you got the idea.
2) If you can, get ProMods. Troll players exist here too but 90% of them are just k**s with multiple accounts which plays only base map and troll everyone. You won't find so many i****s here.

Yes, I do hate TMP for the player base and the fact that isn't 100% simulation (max 90km/h, maybe kick for red lights, etc), but without, I may not be here.
I left ETS2 2 days after I got it because SP bored me. When I found out about the multiplayer, driving with friends made me stay and I still drive daily on ProMods these days and never stoped.

This game is beautifull and relaxing, some loves to stay alone and some loves to have a talk while driving with someone else.
Remember: there is more than just "look I can see you driving" in a multiplayer.

And yes, obvsiuly I'm more than interested in SCS MP as I would like to be 100% safe of trolls

I hope you understand ^^

I don't run on the tmp because of the trolls. but with the people here on the forum I believe it will be a very good experience.

Too much horseplay for sure on TMP. Although I only tried it once and didn't have horseplay around me, it was just too empty for me without the AI. I have a good internet connection but others seem to be a tad laggy at times. If SCs allows map mods or at least certain map mods, that is icing on the cake. ProMods and Reforma are the only two that I am aware of allowed on TMP. They are the main ones that people run. I don't think SCS will put such limits on map mods but if they do, they could be similar to TMP.

Well I understand you get bored on ETS2 single player. I'm getting bored as well. Even promods won't motivate me that much. Multiplayer with your friends makes that game playable and tmp is the main reason why ETS2 has so many players. But I'm not getting bored playing ATS on single player. So I'm not preferring TMP .

My reasonings are :
1) dumb players. No explanation needed. Bad driving, microphone abuse etc. Lot's of reasons.

2) No A.I. traffic. ETS2 servers has tousands of players but guess what, 80 percent of the drivers are stacked at one chaotic mess road and the cities around. So the rest of the map is just empty. Even when you play together seeing the traffic makes the things way better. And on ATS side, players doesn't have herd mentality like ETS2. So you can see players all around of the map. But the map is too big, so seeing other drivers is just rare thing.

3) Development issues. If SCS updates the game, it's over. You need to wait for weeks to see TMP update for current version. You can downgrade your game but for example after seeing 1.40, playing 1.39 is just an impossible thing for me. And if SCS updates the game fast, things are getting worse. I remember one time TMP couldn't update the game for a couple of months.

4) I don't like night time that much. You need to drive specific hours in real life time to drive in day time.

5) taking screenshots are my hobby. It's pretty hard to do in TMP. Since there is no pause, you have to stop for taking screenshots. You can block traffic with it and it's a bad thing.

6) You can't carry special cargoes with police escorts, your map and other players map are not same about road events and detours, weather is different for each player. Unless you don't find a job in world of trucks, finding freight on same location is pretty rare. And non collision areas makes the things unrealistic.

7) optimization. Just get in the most crowded server and teleport Calais. Here you have it. I've never seen my FPS drops under 30. But I saw there in first time.

8) if you don't have DLC's you can't see the content. Seeing a truck which carries an 8 bit minecraft block which says " buy krone dlc " makes the things ridiculous.

So, TMP is a simply huge no for me. And the most effective reasons are 1 and 2.

My gripe with TMP is of 2 things

1 The drivable cars they put in, the ones where in a Collision send your truck flying, feel that destroys the immersion.

2. A friend went in to play some, he always obeys the traffic rules, another person spawn in right on top of my friend wiping my friend out. Because the person that spawned in was an admin, my friend who did NOTHING wrong got banned. This was around the time I was thinking about giving tmp a 2nd chance. Needless to say, that's when I decided to wait for official mp and stuck with single player.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

I can't take it anymore by laughing.
Your stories on TMP are real life.
It should be added that they have a really developed censorship service which removes anything that could criticize and implicate TMP.
Their "Law" is the only one applicable and their modos irreproachable.
I was never banned but a friend had the same joke.
The administrator - moderator appeared in the middle of the road just in front of him, impossible to avoid.
Result 1 week of ban.

Yeahhhh. SCS MP is what I been waiting for as well before attempting MP again. Patience pays off. SCS might be simple but it will be less of a headache I am sure. People would love to eliminate bs if they can. Small private servers that one can host themselves is a pretty good solution to start off.
