Spending much more time on 1.40 i'm getting to the point what HDR (especially its hardcoded implementation right now) is seriously needs to be tweaked. The way it works now is just not normal. Here is an example of two shots - on the left you can see truck painted with black and on the right the same truck painted with white color:

You can clearly see what on the right picture everything looks darker even the sky. Thats not normal (imho) and it really breaks all impression from the game. It shouldn't be like this. Why painting truck with white color breaks all visuals? Maybe for the night or sunset times its ok but for the daytime its not. Please, take a look at this. @SiSL, @Max.

Not sure if this is a bug caused by the open beta, or by installed mods (they are not activated on the profile I'm playing, but they are installed). So I thought I'd see if anyone else is having these issues.

Issue 1; There are far too many Cascadias. It's not like they are the only type of truck spawning, but they spawn a lot more than any other truck.

Issue 2; There are Califorina Highway Patrol Crown Vics spawning everywhere. When I say this, I don't mean there are a lot of them, they are still rare, it's just they spawning all over the map. I've seen them in Colorado, Utah and New Mexico so far.

So, yeah, just wondering if anyone else is having these problems?

@mackintosh My resolution is 1080p Ultra preset with 300 scaling. I have tested now on ETS2: deleted the config file, cache file and old save games and a clean profile.
Now I have almost nog lag but only in cities by night when there are many cars and trucks. So it is almost gone now! :)

But maybe I need a faster graphic card 🤔

this is intentional, the Cascadia is the most driven truck in the US

@mackintosh so i just turned riva on for the lols on my end with everything maxed at 1080 and managed to get over 4gb on vram

@Dirk221 Before you sell, make sure you can get your hands on a gpu first. Everything is being scalped

@DGAF_AK87 Yeah, maybe GTX 1650 Super or GTX 1660 is a better choice because they are newer and DDR6 ram 😊

Interesting. I'm going to pay more attention to VRAM usage, because I could swear mine never got this high. The only game that has ever had me scrambling for VRAM was Transport Fever 2 tricked out with 580 mods. That one's eating up all the 11GB I have and and an additional 26GB of RAM ;)
