That's not the sun in the reflection :roll: I already told you that it is the bit of SKY just BELOW the bridge in front of you being reflected on the hood (which is SLIGHTLY sloped downward and away from your POV). Have you EVER held and looked at a mirror at an angle?

@harishw8r use g_show_game_elements 0 to disable the XXX barriers. However this will remove all green activators and the unloading target frame as well.

Does anyone else find the 1.40 visual changes a lot less pronounced than in ets2? To be honest when I ran ats I wasn't sure if I wasn't supposed to toggle the new lighting system on :D while at the same time I've booted ets2 1.40 yesterday evening and was blown away by the immediate difference.

I have to agree on that. It can be agreed to some extent that ETS2 had a lot of asset rework, so the transition from a 2008 map to 2021 standards does make the changes pronounce a lot when compared to ATS. Even Benelux region looks like VLF with the new lighting.

Couldn't tell you have not played ETS2 in months now.

BTW, I did find something wrong with 1.40 with the AI. In Grand Junction on a run to Provo had the AI at a dead stop in the intersection and the light was green. When all lanes started to move was when the turn light turned green. Going to have to see if I can replicate it again as I was in my vanilla profile. Not sure if it was a fluke or not.

The last few anti barrier mods I tried failed me. They crashed the game even in 1.39 and are even less likely to work in 1.40. As much as I'd prefer a mod over the complete deactivation of all activator elements.

Just FYI - the issue with the trucks falling through the road prefab has been fixed and it will come on an update hopefully this afternoon. :)
