OOps, sorry to upset ALL you SCS fanboiz, but most and if not ALL of us just want some proper AA. please.
The Modding scene is dead, because of SCS,

No one here is saying they don't want AA improvement  We are saying that the improvement will come over time. It is not something done with the snap of the fingers. And where is that the modding scene is dead? SCS has always supported the modding community 🤷‍♂️

Correct AA would definitely improve game performance. AA by scaling or NPI wastes computer resources for e.g. antialiasing of trees.

Just have to say I’ve never enjoyed ATS as much as I am now with the 1.40 beta. Old gaming engine or not, it’s still very capable of some great, immersive, relaxing gameplay. I can keep it plugged at 60fps with visual settings maxed out and the experience is smooth and enjoyable. Keep up the good work SCS!

The mod community is growing stronger constantly. I'm not sure about that comment. The thing is, when SCS incorporates something, a particular mod can be dropped but its because of (x) mod that SCS incorporates it most of the time. As far a AA, honestly I can care less as it doesn't bother me like some people. I enjoy the game for its gameplay, not for its graphics. Its a game that has many hard edges to it so it inevitable that it won't be perfect. There are games that are worse.

The insults are funny though. I find it quite ironic that most people that do such are ones that only come around here when SCS does updates to stir up the crowd here.

Gonna have to keep a lookout on a 100% Fresh profile tomorrow, but Driving Northbound on i25, somewhere Between Pueblo and Denver there was a floating sign.... and not like barely hovering.... but ascending into the heavens lol, but I can't remember exactly where, if it was a mod or mod remnant, I couldn't see it listed in the bugs lol

Fully agree with you @flight50 . Modding community is anything but dead. Just sounds like someone who is upset about their favorite mod not working with the beta. AA not working right makes zero difference to me as I play in VR so it wouldn't matter anyway. I find the game is getting better with each update.

The disco lights at night is a bit of a bummer, otherwise I am good
ATS modding has really taken off and I am quite sure environment mods will find a niece of its own
As the game evolves mods are broken it is inevatible, you can see it as a challenge or give up

@xXCARL1992Xx I hate to say it but he is right about the engine to a degree. It is a 20 year old engine no matter what you say, Prism3d is not a new engine and that is apparent by the way it runs and how far back you can track it. The main issue I've noticed is that they're still coding it to load the majority of the game on a single core while it puts very little on 3 other cores. I've been testing this since Idaho and its became more apparent to me especially with my rig. Don't get me wrong I love this game and have put over 1000 hours into it in the past year, but it is apparent that the way SCS has told Prism how to handle CPU usage is now outdated and is holding both ATS and ETS back.

and it still doesnt change the fact that the engine can do everything the others can, IF SCS decides to implement it and if the knowledge and need for it is there

The fix has been said to be Vulkan from threads of the past. Its more universal than DX12. Its a bit harder to code than DX11 iirc from what some say. I believe Vulkan is multi core right? SCS mentioned something on the matter years back. The key thing is, we never know what the devs are working on. Many projects are worked on in the background and in parallel with the current game as we know it. Will the game stay with DX11.............probably not but it was a positive move from DX9. Just like anything, give it takes time to upgrade. Many of us know the limitations of the games just as the devs do. In order to keep people playing, they have to evolve as well. MP was teased Valentine day 2020. Now almost a year later, SCS acknowledged its coming soon. I am sure there are other projects in the works that haven't gone official yet. Each year, something is revealed though.
