That's already the case. It's hardly possible to change light sources in headlights any more. Then again they last much longer than the old bulbs that you could change at home.

This claim seems dubious. A brief web search (e. g. https://www.hotrodhotline.com/headlight ... high-beams or https://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstrea ... -98-21.pdf) suggests that both ECE and SAE require the glare reduction you get from asymmetry, but SAE regulations allow more variation of the beam pattern than ECE does. Assuming this is true, some American headlights may not be as obviously asymmetrical as European ones, but there are probably none that are in fact symmetrical.

That said, I'm no expert, and you're in America while I am not, so you tell me. :)

It's not the SAE but the DOT who make the requirements for the headlamps of the vehicles sold in US (Among all the other regulations.). You need to search for the DOT headlamps pattern requirements to really understand why they are symmetrical on both sides.

Need to figure out why my truck lights not the headlights, but all the side lights are large orange balls. I don't have any graphic mod installed.

Truck mods, trailer mods, traffic mods almost any mod can cause it. Start by removing all mods not explicitly updated for 1.40.

Was just reading the Renault T & T High Blog. Anyone else wondering what surprises SCS has in store for future ATS trucks? I'm actually quite surprised at least one new truck model hasn't arrived in 2021. Aside from the completed Western Star 49X variants, I was optimistic to see another model in-game since we're now 4 months into 2021.

Its only April. We have 8 more months to go so its a bit pre-mature to say a truck won't come. I doubt very seriously if at least one doesn't come though. Too many trucks for ATS to come. If you all recall from the 2020 xmas stream, SCS already said that both games have trucks in the works. The way they been cranking out trucks, I have little doubt ATS won't see 1-2 added this year. People thought I was nuts for saying ATS can get 3-4 trucks last year and look what all came. I don't rule out too much anymore. SCS is not 30 deep anymore. They are 200+ strong and that is a lot of hands that can do a lot more now.

This year should definitely be a good year for trucks, especially in both games! Surely the vehicle team is working!
