For those who have tested different reflection scaling settings : is there a huge difference between the settings,both in visuals and performance?

@Oscar Go get some well deserved sleep my friend. Job well done. Thank you for your hard work. This 49x is a beast with the options. Can't wait to see the next truck. Hopefully you have some deals in the making for ATS tuning packs, tire packs and a few licensed trailer dlc's. I also can't wait to see what develops with Swift. That could be huge marketing wise for SCS and partners. That can open doors just like the 49x. I am sure there are a few dozen US companies that would love to get into ATS. Heck, skin mods have them in already. If you guys can get a skin dlc for trailers, that would be awesome. One less mod to worry about. The less mods the better as long as immersion is there.

Might be obvious, but what does the reflection scaling option do? Tweaks the reflection quality? Which reflections in particular? Oh and on a quick run it feels like a COMPLETELY different game. LOVE the new headlights!

Way ahead of you @flight50 . Here is what I found on my first pass that stood out.

Almost all of the signs in the game have been reworked in size to be more true to real life. Lots of new options for poles on signs.

As for Wyoming assets, not much yet. Most of what I saw has been stuff we've seen in blog posts.
What good is a world without good detail?

Loving the new F4 menu.Something i need to get used to,after pressing F4 three or four times for years.The dev console is at a bad position for me tho.Not a fan of it's bottom of screen position.

I've noticed incredible frame-rate increases. I did a drive around Bend and on 400% Scaling Ultra AA and maxing out everything but mirror reflections (medium) and reflection quality (medium) I got a smooth experience. Prior to this my frame-rate was beginning to jerk on 200% low AA. Not sure how they did it but it feels like witchcraft to me. My rig is a 2600x Ryzen 4 with 32GB Ram and an Nvidia 1060 6GB card.

That's the good news. Bad news is that shimmering seems worse than ever, with severe stair-stepping of the shadows and even shadows that blink in and out repeated, especially on bushes. I think it might be the SSAO so I'm going to test that.
