I certainly believe that we will have the first part that must be the North of the state. From what they said: "The reskin will come as a free update for all owners of the American Truck Simulator and will be released in smaller phases over the course of upcoming game updates."

Nothing came for 1.40 so naturally we'd think okay, maybe phase one for 1.41. Now that we finally got that Vegas like blog, I think that is the icing on the cake for 1.41. When Vegas came, it was for the upcoming update. Hard to believe phase 1 isn't coming with 1.41. So not only do we get Wyoming, but phase 1 for California as well. Now that the blogs started for it, I wonder if the next California blog comes in 2 week. We are probably several weeks out til ob beta so I'm sure things for 1.41 will slowly get revealed.

By the looks of the blog, phase one goes down to I-80 at least. So we might be able to assume that from the Oregon border all the way to I-80 is phase one. Although the blog confirmed cities are in the equation, we don't know if that now means they have an experience city builder that also did work for phase one, or will cities come later still.

How do you adjust the tandems? I didn't realize that was in the game. Or are you just referring to the full forward/ full backward pre fabs?

I've never used them so I don't know exactly how they work but I think its the F7 key that does it. Imo, there should be either 3 or 5 positions available. Same with the 5th wheel. The biggest issue is that until weight becomes a factor in the game, sliding tandems or the 5th wheel only serves appearance appeal. I'd rather have weigh stations and scales mean something.

The other thing that sliding your fifth wheel and tandem does is changes your pivot points, which changes maneuvering difficulty. of course there aren't nearly enough tight spots for it to really matter.
