Re: ATS 1.41 Speculation Thread
I say that the dolly could be added in the accessories to be purchased in order to physically hook the double. Thus also adding the coupling bell to the trucks ....
It would be a complicated job but the couplings would be almost infinite.
If I have made myself wrong, forgive me.
In Italian I could explain myself much better ...

Connecting doubles can be trouble for some even in real life. Unless we got the option to split doubles and perhaps multi drop, I don't think we'd get dolly's as an accessory. Connecting dollies can be done 1 of 2 ways. 1) connect it to rear trailer and hope that you can reverse straight back. You can't see it so you are blind reversing it. That dolly turns like no other if you get it wrong from being so short. 2) you roll it into place on the trailing trailer. This is much much easier but it requires us to get out the truck to connect. Something else we don't have in the games.
The dolly is a given for doubles and triples so SCS just bypasses the need for us to deal with it and its auto attached, which is probably the best option imho.

When it comes to dollys the spotters normally hook the trailers up. If the driver does it then they hook the dolly to the lead trailer and drive it to the last trailer then they unhook the dolly and move it by hand to the last trailer just infront of it with the fifth wheel touching the front of the trailer then rehook the dolly to the lead trailer then back under the last trailer.

I know the coupling method, it is also used in Italy, unfortunately it is not homologated on the road so it is found in some logistics company to move trailers internally. It has always been a good challenge though ...

friends utah dlc routes not complete at 1.41 can be completed route 12.24 and route 95 come to utah dlc
Re: ATS 1.41 Speculation Thread
@raskol 1.41 is not even out yet. But I do agree on the route. Maybe it comes after the base map rebuilds as that team will have time to sweep thru the maps to add requested roads. That gives the focus for new map production by the new dlc map teams. We have good numbers on the ATS map team now so no telling when and how much additions we can get.

I was looking the glass reflection in Iberia and thinkin improvements 1.41 could go towards the lighting of certain textures to improve. I expect 1.41 for preparation for Wyoming and possibly California stage 1.
Re: ATS 1.41 Speculation Thread
Small update: last time I mentioned adding the stretch of US 24 to Colorado (for which both termini already exist as in-game intersections), I wasn't anywhere close to Colorado Springs and couldn't find the code I needed to use to devcam there, so I just guessed which road was US 24. I was actually in Colorado Springs tonight, so I devcammed around to find the correct intersection and it turns out I guessed wrong. Here's a "fixed" map of what US 24 should look like considering current intersections:
[ external image ]
Again, there are already intersections for US 24 at both ends of this blue segment, and they're specifically signed as US 24, so you don't need to make room or anything; you just need to connect them. The freeway signs for US 24 south of Colorado Springs also specifically point you toward Limon, which you kinda can't actually get to without this segment. It's not a very complicated road and it'd actually be pretty useful - you save about a hundred miles on most jobs heading east from Colorado Springs (or southwest from Burlington.)

Actually there are a few more roads that could get added to Colorado imo. They are all in the East. Trying to add CO-13 would mess up too much but East of 1-25 is possible

I hope SCS adds the ability to do multi drops.. like pick up veggies in Cali Arizona NM deliver all to Texas... or Vice Versa.. Pick up and have 2-3 drops along the route.. that would certainly add to the realism
