Thats exactly what am I asking, disable voice chat altogether, the more tools they gives the host, the better. Most online games give the host/server those options.

Hopefully one day the train sounds will get to this level. One of the best train sound mods out there imo.
What good is a world without good detail?

Cntrl+F9 doesn't work for me. My TrackIR took over F9 and nothing ever works with it.

I totally agree. It does need work but its a base to work with. Thank you SCS for now including this. Adding in the bells and we good. Based on HaQ's video:
1) start horn a little sooner so that its sounds off a tad longer. 1.5 seconds......double it. We need at least 2.5-3 seconds prior to reaching the crossing gate
2) fade out...fade out...fade. Don't cut the sound until the locomotive is pass the crossing gates...and then fade it out. A much better fade in and out would make this fmod add a highlight for 1.41.
3) dobbler is almost there. That's not too bad honestly. I think a much better fade out cleans this up as the locomotive clears the crossing.

Its almost sounds like the horn was just tossed in the game fairly raw though. Perhaps its was done with the concept of letting people critic it first to see what adjustments need to be made. Sound is subjective so go with the massives. As is, it needs some tlc though.

While mine doesn't utilize the horn at crossings function (yet), I think mine does a pretty good job as well ;)

@SuchManor YESSSS, THAT'S ITS. That's the sound I'm lookin for. The gate bells doesn't matter much. There are many out there that several cities use thru out the US. But the train horn, the fade in, the fade out, the train bells, the dobler is perfect. You even hear the engine depth in the locomotives as they cross. You can hear the bass pitch. That is what we need. Even the car rumble is more realistic. Otherwise, I need that mod to go along with Kriech's for truck sounds.

@TruckerKid I hear a lot of good things in your mod as well. The train length is perfect as to what US freight trains should be like in ATS. The brake squeal and car noises are pretty good. The train bells is also spot on.

Then reassign whatever is set to F9 in TrackIR? Those keys are not set in stone. I had to change everything about in there for those keybinds as they interfered with the game.

@flight50 I didn't miss anything.

Sounds like you left the TrackIR key binds alone and messed around in the game files. Why not just rebind them in TrackIR? Click the button that F9, might be for center or who knows what else and reassign the key for that?
