SCS has done minor updates like this in other places, too.
When the Idaho DLC launched, there was some road construction in the scenery town of New Meadows with barricades blocking a road.
In a later update, the barricades were moved aside and the construction vehicles parked out of the way.

The "Now Open" sign at the Gallon Oil truck stop in Holbrook, AZ is another good example. It was there after the truck stop opened to the player in the game, but it was removed in some update after, as if to simulate time passing since the truck stop opened.

Loading screen speed slowed down a bit. When I tried the mod-free profile that I just opened, it was a bit slow. I don't use map mods. Physics, sound, etc. I am using mods. There is no slowdown in Ets.
Why might the loading be slow?

Not to mention that the initial loading screen mounts all mods whether or not they are in use by any profile.
