Yes sorry, that was my question before: "Does anyone actually know exactly whether the aerodynamic attachments on the truck actually have an impact on fuel consumption?"

@Vinnie Terranova Are you talking about crosswinds? How are aerodynamic accessories supposed to affect those...? Because any air that comes from ahead is the same to spoilers etc. and that's what they're designed for. Right now the game only knows a general headwind drag factor induced by speed that doesn't account for spoilers. Maybe explain what you mean.

What I mean: we don't have wind at all... We only have some wind sounds, but not wind force. I don't know if there is a headwind drag factor, but if there is a headwind drag factor, then that's just an artificial trick. I don't care about these kind of tricks. I want real wind force effects, so that I not only hear the wind, but also feel the truck shaking or pushing to the left/right.
The same counts for other kind of weather: rain. I not only want to see rain, I also want puddles with splashing water, aquaplaning, etc.
The point is, the weather effects we now have are only visible / hearable effects; but I also want the physic forces...

wind doesnt cause drag, air does and air is always there, there is no trick and for "realistic" fuel consumption the drag coefficient has to be there or else you would lose a major force that works against you besides friction to the ground, without air you could almost accelerate to infinity

@xXCARL1992Xx You've never experienced Santa Anna winds in California.

Re: ATS 1.41 discussion
well, maybe i have said it wrong, but what i meant is you dont need wind to cause drag, air is the factor that causes it most of the time besides friction to the ground

Re: ATS 1.41 discussion
It's not only just about drag... It's about physics. The whole picture.
Fuel consumption
So we can resume: we do NOT have any aerodynamic effect that impacts the fuel consumption in the game at that stage of ATS (and will never have I guess)
...and by the way, what about the tires? Doesnt matter what shoes you walk along? In ETS2 is a comparison between the "vanilla tires" with a gas-pump-symbol, what allowes to think about fuel consumption.....

It is a nothing burger anyway; the economy model is so unrealistic that fuel economy doesn’t matter. I wish they had started out with a realistic economy, there is no way they can change it now….the whining would be unbearable
