I think he meant CA-120 as it is already in the game, though I don't know if that was built by people who were at that time new employees.

@clifflandmark: kindly go through the Yosemite blog post once again:

https://blog.scssoft.com/2018/03/tioga-pass.html
We have noticed a bit of empty space next to the Sierra Nevada, did a little research, and felt that it would be a great opportunity for one of our new map designers do cut his teeth designing a pass across the mountain range.

Well, Yosemite was an addition and not a rebuild. :)

I think he was referring to when Yosemite was made back then, v1.31. It was a comparison.

Yes it was a statement in reaction to newcomers are capable. Just like the latest Iberia blog stated they used new roads for training. ATS did this way back then for Tioga Pass. That was followed up with a few more new roads . Due to so many projects going on now, mappers are assigned straight to teams and we have not gotten that single added road in some time for ATS. It would be nice if SCS went back to that though. Let mappers get their feet wet before throwing them in the fire. There are several roads to practice on in ATS. I'm sure every road could be added that they do. All they need is to be coached to fix it if they mess up. No work at SCS should go for nothing. Hint hint....that means the old Cascadia model.

Hi,
Some time has passed. Could someone wrote a list of things worth mentioning at the moment in 1.42.
Perhaps there were some tips from SCS that I missed?

@MarkON I don't think anything has been confirmed for ATS 1.42 yet. ETS2 hasn't either but the Lyon rework is very likely, with the Austria rework (or just the first stage) probable, and the new Iberia roads also possible. For ATS, we have no idea. We might get more CA rework, we might not. We might get new trailers, we might not. We might get a new feature, we might not. We might get a graphics improvement, we might not. Hopefully we'll hear more about it in the next few weeks.

Speak of the devil...

So I think a lot of things we're speculating for 1.42 might come in 1.43. Makes sense that they'd want to get Convoy mod support out in its own update to make testing/debugging easier.

Yeah no telling at this point. As time goes on, I don't think we'll get simple maintenance updates anymore. The team is much larger and more task happen as a result. The file sizes for updates are typically about a gig. I wouldn't really call that a simple maintenance update. I'd like to think 1.42 is a pretty decent update coming though. It could be more in depth for one game or the other though.
