In my eyes it is a good start. Volvo took the possibility and signed the contract being included as cargo. We don't know if other brands have no interest or who did the first step to ask for a deal.

There is hope that other brands see it and will sign a contract as well.

And that ones that don't like the Volvo cargoes are not forced to buy the DLC.

All it takes is one manufacturer to agree. Then more will eventually want in or allow representation. Its a slow process but over time, if it has to deal with trucking, more can fall in the lap of SCS.

Steam doesnt do anything (other if you mean it as a platform) SCS decides what will be bundles together, ofc within the rules Steam has for it

Steam as in the presentation we get to make purchases. SCS make dictate it, but Steam presents it for us to buy.

are you guys really serious, who, with a sane mind, would use the chain drive to tie down the digger, there are 2 chain holes under it for this purpose

one wrong move and you will rip the chain from the gears, they are loosely mounted on it and only held i place by the weight and a bit of steel and not bolted down like the wheels of a car

Actually, IRL, they are almost always held down this way but not with a single chain & binder; there is pretty much always a second set of chains to the trackframes in a secondary x-pattern

Well I am loving it,all the models are nicely done and it is nice for a change to haul loads that exist in the real world and with real brand names. One can only hope that this dlc proves to be a success and in future more brands will follow. In the end(for me at least)this a way better than some paintjob dlc, this way I can justify spending money on a dlc than is not a map expansion and in the process support SCS.

Carl is right but it goes like roundwood strapping = mandatory but useless : if the load decides to go loose it will (words I got from a pro logging trucker).Just check out how thin those chains are...

I'm still waiting for a lowboy fix update for ATS. We should be able to carry a Volvo wheel loader with a single 3-axle lowboy and an 8x4 truck. We need the feature of being able to insert warning flags and OVERSIZE LOAD text whenever we want and place them again. And for completely flat lowboys there must be extra loads. For example, we can place the wheel loader bucket at the back. please fix this. I am very satisfied with my 5-axle low body and 6x4 Range-T in ETS2. :)

The 5 axis lowbed is great. There are a lot of load options available. :D In fact, some flatbed loads must also be contained within the lowbed/lowboy.
