Contrast in cabin looks wierd
Contrast in cabin looks wierd
I've notice the contrast from roof view looks much way better than from cabin. Why is that? Could Scs fix this in next Patch?

That's what HDR is doing, playing with dynamic range hence also with the contrast. You might get the same pretty sky from inside, but in this case the whole interior will be pitch black which you don't want to.

i think scs should play with white and black points to correct them both. if shadows looks too way dark its akwardpigbrother wrote: ↑23 Sep 2021 09:09 That's what HDR is doing, playing with dynamic range hence also with the contrast. Another reason to use roof camera ...
But not in KW W900, because I don't like how it looks (any cabin version).

No, because this means to go back to the old limited lighting system. This was talked to death during the beta, read the old topics.

So... you didn't bother to read that long conversations about colorspace and 8 bit monitors and dynamic range and yet you have the strong opinion that is not a huge change.
Long story short, you want that sweet contrast and colours inside? Go get a nice HDR 12 Dolby Vision monitor and ask SCS to bring Display HDR in games. Nothing can be done on current 8 bit monitors, heck, most users don't even have an 8 bit monitor with 100% sRGB, sometimes they are still using garbage 6 bit TN or 6 bit cheap IPS.
...and I'm out, I wasted enough time explaining things on those threads.

i doubt. if it was true, then no one game could afford proper lighting. and you know what? many AAA games has realistic HDR , Lighting and color Contrast.pigbrother wrote: ↑23 Sep 2021 12:37 So... you didn't bother to read that long conversations about colorspace and 8 bit monitors and dynamic range and yet you have the strong opinion that is not a huge change.

And much lower dynamic range, just like you want it and like it was before. They went for up to 1.000.000:1 dynamic range (difference between black night and broad daylight) because they wanted this for future PBR. Which is a good idea.
